    Basmati or Jeeraga Samba rice (1 cup)
    Ghee (2-3 tbsp)
    Cinnamon stick (1 small piece)
    Cloves (2-3)
    Cardamom pods (2)
    Bay leaf (1, optional)
    Cumin seeds (1 tsp)
    Ginger (1 tsp, finely chopped)
    Cashews (10-12, optional for garnish)
    Water (2 cups)
    Salt (to taste)
    Fresh coriander or mint leaves (for garnish)
    How to Make Coimbatore Style Pulvo Pilaf:
    Wash & Soak the Rice: Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
    Prepare the Ghee Tempering: Heat ghee in a deep pan, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin seeds, and bay leaf. Sauté until the spices release their aroma.
    Add the Rice: Add the soaked rice and gently fry it in the ghee for a few minutes, stirring continuously.
    Cook the Rice: Pour in 2 cups of water, season with salt, and cover. Cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked and soft.
