It’s always a good chat with Seth Feider but this one gets a little SPICY 🌶️🔥. One thing for sure, nobody can ever accuse him of hold back his true feelings. If you enjoyed this episode please remember to Like this video & Subscribe.
EPIC. I’d pay good money for a fireside chat with Seth and Pedro. I’m lucky enough to own a pocket rock from Pedro that’s with me every time I’m on the water and it really has special bass powers. GREAT dudes!
Seth your a 100% right, when it comes to the purity, and beauty of this crazy sport we all love. I despise cheating even if it’s in the grey area and everyone knows it’s cheating. Like a great man once said if you look at yourself in the mirror and your truly not happy with what is looking back at you in the reflection. Maybe it’s time to make some lifestyle changes. That’s why Fieder, Zaldain, KVD, Livsay, Paliniuk, Jocubsom, Swindle, and the list goes on. You guys fallow the book, and set the bar for the future of fishing, with no grey area B.S. Great job Mercer, you have a great pod cast.
I can't get enough of your podcast.. They're so entertaining and they've opened up a whole new world too bass fishing for me that I've followed my whole life. And i'm forty nine years old. I hope you're able to do this for many years to come. As your voice is very soothing don't take that in a funny way. It helps for just everyday life and listening to what you enjoy!! Much respect😊
Why is Seth so practical and cool and real!? Gotta love his down to earth no BS perspective. He understands his bias but stands firm on real things that matter.
Great podcast. Love how Seth just calls it like it is. 100% agree with him talking about how it’s now more college kids with rich parents. Need to bring up the working class. Having to fish all 9 opens to get on the Elites is ridiculous. So what if someone goes bankrupt, that’s there choice at least give them a chance
You can always make more money, you can't make time. It also gives other guys a chance instead of just letting guys hang out on tour forever because they can afford to.
Fishing 9 Opens shows you have the financial ability, skills and time to be on the Elites. And not even at the full financial needs of the Elites. If you really want to make high level tournament fishing your life, you will find a way to pay for it. And yes...the young guys with the rich parents have one less obstacle to deal with. The Opens will now flush those who cant sustain a true trail/season out. It will happen by tournament 4 or 5. Those who cant, wont. Its just that simple. And to the point of going bankrupt, thats a poor decision regardless. Give them a chance at what? Making the Elites but not being able afford the 9 Opens? You need to be ready to fish the Elites regardless, if that is your goal coming out of the Opens. Doesnt matter if its 3, 6 or 9 tournaments. You literally have less than 4 months to have deposits ready if you qualify for the Elites.
Another comforting show. Thanks. Mr. Fieder and Dave! He has a lot of my thoughts on FFS. Will never budge from my feelings about how it’s hurting fishing in many ways. Never want one and I’m fine w that. It’s not about the catching and staring at a screen for me
Dave, “if you put all that negativity in the world, sooner or later it will come back in your lap”. You are spot on brother. Love the podcast, keep it coming!
What a great show. You have to admire Seth's honesty. He's is a great guy. Have him on more often. The sport needs more guys like Seth! No B.S. with him
Great show Dave, we need more people like Seth in this sport. He tells it like it is and doesn’t care who it offends. Definitely a standup guy in my book.
Thank you Dave for having such a great PodCast. Hope to meet you next time you come back to LaCrosse, which I hope is soon. Seth Feider is a great angler from neighboring Minnesota and he’s a blast to watch fish.
I picked up using a storm arashi cover pop from Seth on wired to fish and that thing is my confidence popper. So, I can say that his honesty is genuine.

Amen Seth feider they took the working man's chance out making me fish all night events we cannot afford it's all about rich kids mommy and daddy paying their way
Great episode Dave! Seth is one of a kind in our sport; I appreciate his honesty and speaking his mind. I was in Waddington the year he won AOY, what a great season he had! I also like the fact he don't want to fish in a crowd! I do feel like it will be harder for the working class guy to make it through 9 opens. Keep up the good work Dave!
Great show Dave!! I definitely believe that transparency is vital to the sport. Failure to do so gives fans a false sense of reality. Hopefully we can have more in the future.
In Florida the key is the 1 foot breaklines in the middle of the lake. Like Buck Perry said its all about the breaklines closest to the deeperst water. Remember the basics.
I know the chances are close to 0 for the working man like me..however, ive always been this way even in high school I'd rather have asked the hot girl to dance at the dance and she turned me down. At least then i had a chance. Instead of saying well shes out of my league theres no chance. That mindset and refusal to quit has lead me to be 5th in the open EQ series at this moment. What job can one have to get 9 weeks of vacation. B.A.S.S.
