Lisa, I have lived in Colorado all my life. (70 years) and we have been on farms, so jelly is not a favorite! Jams of all types and curd are easy to make and much more intense and tasty flavor to us. Right now I have about 8 different Jams and Lemon and a orange curd, on hand.😅 I love your chuckles! "Colloidal Oyts", I quite like that! 👍 Great suggestion Paul! They turned out very nice. I would have never thought of that although Peanut Butter & Jam sandwiches are a old favorite of ours. Well done, Lisa! Cheers 👍💕🤗
Your husband did a great job coming up with a challenge for you. Love this idea! Have you tried eggs or banana peels? Your video is informative and exciting as usual. I love hearing you giggle as you make soap! 😊
That discolouration made it a very subtle colour family! Thank goodness Mr idis didn't ask for Marmite! BTW: Am I the only one that started singing 🎼 Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey Yes, probably.
Our regs are a double edge sword. It means we cannot play a lot if we are selling items but on the other side consumers have some level of security. You excel at being creative within the constraints Lisa. I like this one, you really seemed to enjoy making it
Totally cool creation as always, Lisa! I've never thought about using these ingredients to make soap personally, especially the jelly, but hey.........challenges are fun!! Greetings from across the pond :)
"DON'T EAT THE SOAP!" 🤣🤣🤣 I really like the look of the soap. Those colors go together really well. Out of curiosity, did the peanut butter soap smell like peanut butter before you put the fragrance in?
This is so cool! You and Paul have really got me thinking about other breakfast ingredients you could put in - maybe a layer with strong tea and milk, or milk infused with cereal or toast (the way bakers do for breakfast themed desserts). Marmite (mar)might be a step too far, alas!
Such a fun soap! Great idea making a "sandwich" design for those ingredients. Interesting that the smooth peanut butter was still slightly exfoliating! Thanks for sharing, very cool!! 😊
Good this very pretty soap is not being sold, as someone probably would want to take a bite of it! It certainly does look appetizing, as some of these desserts from the south with gelatin, cream and caramel and the likes😋 thank you for a very entertaining video🙏❤️
This is funny, but it makes a point. Think about what works in soap, and consider alternative ingredients that have those basic qualities. Good thing you don't live in Australia; a Vegemite soap would be awful.
Cool soap! I’m looking for a hint it a tutorial on how to make a design that looks like there is stitching running through it. I remember seeing it years ago but I can’t seem to find it.
I'm so allergic to peanuts that watching this maykes me itch! I have watched your video for years now. I live vicariosly through you as I haven't been able to make soap in a few years. During lockdown, I had hurt my arm, and I've been getting physical therapy to get operational again. 😢 So, I watch you because you are intfinitely informative and endlessly creative! I hope you kèep soaping and sharing for a very long time. Cheers from NYC!! 👋🏽
Thanks for your comment, it's not disgusting at all, lots of food ingredients are used in soap. The main base of soap is oil, most types are a typical food ingredient, also peanuts are common in the form of peanut oil. As for the jams it's not really any different to adding sugar or using natural plant ingredients in the soap.
I've made a lime, ginger, pear marmalade. Omg, amazing!! 🤤
Nice. 👍😍
I actually really like the subtle green olive color better than the bright green.
Glad you liked it. 😉
Paul gave you a challenge!, and you smashed it Lisa ❤
😍

Yes, probably.
Marmite....hmm there's an idea! 😄
Lisa, this is a really cute soap and a great idea from Paul!
In my house, we far prefer jam or preserves to jelly. 😉
Same here. Jam > than jelly.
He's full of great ideas......he says! 😀
@@IDreamInSoap 😂 Mine becomes my assistant, but doesn’t really put too many ideas out there.
Love this and love your little giigles. You make me smile!
😊😍

Every day with soap in it is a good day! 😄
Totally cool creation as always, Lisa! I've never thought about using these ingredients to make soap personally, especially the jelly, but hey.........challenges are fun!! Greetings from across the pond :)
Thank you so much. It took some head scratching, but came out well. 👍
What a fun soap video! Those layers just say peanut butter and jelly perfectly! You rock!❤
Yes! Thank you!
We're using one now in the kitchen. 😍
"DON'T EAT THE SOAP!" 🤣🤣🤣
I really like the look of the soap. Those colors go together really well.

You make me smile! I love the design, and I may copy that look - not with jam and peanuts, but with Micamoma's lovely colours. 🤩
Good idea. good luck with it. 👍😉

Thanks a lot! 😊
I’ve done a soap with potatoes puréed in it. Being from PEI, Canada, we are known for our potatoes. Thought it be fitting to put it in my soap.
That's an interesting idea. 👍

You're welcome. We're using one at the moment - smells peanutty. 🙂
Hey Lisa, you should do more soaps just for fun. You really had fun making this soap!
I have way more fun making soap than I do editing videos!
😄😍
Ha Ha Ha!! I'm sure you do. Editing videos probably takes the fun out of it all. (Well, almost!) @@IDreamInSoap
Im here for sandwiches and soap!!
😂😍
Good job Lisa … 🐝🐝🐝🐝🧼🧼🧼🫧🫧🫧
Thanks a lot! 😍
You didn’t mention if the peanut butter smell came through. I’d be interested in Having a soap with the peanut butter smell.
We're using one now. It smells peanutty, but also gingerbread for some reason!😐
@@IDreamInSoap interesting! Thanks for reply!!

As you know, we have Marmite - almost the same.
Marmite on toast - very good.
Marmite soap - maybe not, who knows? 😄
❤ almost like a peanut butter, oatmeal, jam & marmalade sandwich!! the white oatmeal layer could have been the bread! very pretty! yummy looking!
Ooh yes. I didn't think of the oatmeal being the bread 😕
Cool soap!

I'm not stopping, so keep watching.
Good luck with the rehab. 👍😍
I have curious about peanut butter in soap and here you are, not sure about jam and marmalade but why not😊
I know! Wacky but good.
I love the design and colours that’s it.❤️👍
👍😍
In the US we say PB&J, where the J is often jam :) which I prefer to grape jelly.
Love my jam in the southern us. Homemade is best!
I have no idea what jelly is. Is it just fruit juice + pectin... That sort of thing? From Canada.
@@l_7376 pretty much
Blackcurrant jam for me.....🙂
Sorry to disappoint but hamburger is the word that comes to mind after the cut. Good thing I like hamburgers 😂😂😂 thanks for the video.
You're welcome. Hamburgers are good. 🙂
What a fun soap to make. I never used peanut butter in soap. I like the way this one turned out!❤
😍
It looks like a giant sandwich. Lol
Yes, smells good too!
what a great idea!
👍😉
❤amazing ideas
Glad you like them!
Love this! Definitely a fun combination! I hope you enjoy using it 😊
Yes we do, thanks. Smells like peanuts.
If you love PB AND j that much make a sandwich and eat it. Food does not belong in soap. The thought of that soap is disgusting.
Wow. That's just so rude! You do know you can skip a video, right? My goodness.

jelly- juice thickened with gelatin or pectin
jam- whole fruit, sugar, pectin
preserves- fruit and sugar
marmalade- skin/peels pectin, juice, sugar
🙂
