But Joey like here in this vid shows they lost a boss BUT there current drummer has no problems taking the mantle...but c'mon man when I was a kid Joey was the best drummer in the world (little did I know) but I still hold on to that sentiment out of nostalgia...shame what went down with Chris, the moment he made it public that was is I think...if he didnt 'shame' the brand of Slipknot and tried it internally within the group things may have been different!

This was Slipknot's best concert. This was a matured Slipknot 10 years in but all the members were still in their 30s so they still had more energy. We got to hear hits from Self Titled, Iowa, Volume 3, and All Hope is Gone and this was the last tour we would see the late great Paul Gray and Joey Jordison play on.
We'll said!! Embrace the fire they started by passing their art and love for the music they created to generations to come; to keep these legends alive. Slipknot are epic. They are what keep us "Maggots" going. But you need to turn the frowny face around to smile. Joey and Paul left their masterpiece for our "Maggot Family" to be a part of it.

I'm not a massive metalhead by any means - but good Lord I have very few words for this. I think this is probably one of the greatest live performances of any band, ever. The vocals, musicianship, aesthetic, choreography, energy and atmosphere are just on another planet. If you appreciate music, then you can probably appreciate that it doesn't get much better than this. Thank you Slipknot for giving us this piece of history❤❤ Rest in peace Joey and Paul

I think this is the greatest live performances of Slipknot: Great Sound, Great EQ, Great Performance of all members, Joey was still there, Amazing Vocals, Great Public.
Yeah man we were lucky to witness it, the original line up. The whole of Friday and Saturday leading up to the performance was awesome, the atmosphere was electric just hyper energised, everybody was saying they were looking forward to Slipknot the most and they didn't disappoint. If you get a chance to go to Download for whichever band you're into go because it's just an unbelievable experience.
The amount of attack on Joey's drums hits like a sledgehammer! Whoever their sound engineer was for this performance, they did a phenomenal job, best sounding drums I’ve ever heard in live performance!
IMO their best live performance ever, coming off the release of their most successful album ever and having all original Members, and feeding of the insane energy of such a massive crowd. This is the band I fell in love with.
I have seen this concert (both on DVD and on TH-cam) maybe 80 billion times, and only today have I noticed that Corey says, "Come on, Paul!" at 1:25:52 just before handing the mic to Paul to say "Spit it out". Rest in peace to both Paul and Joey; one of the strongest rhythm sections in metal history.

Yeah man we were lucky to witness it, the original line up. The whole of Friday and Saturday leading up to the performance was awesome, the atmosphere was electric just hyper energised, everybody was saying they were looking forward to Slipknot the most and they didn't disappoint. If you get a chance to go to Download for whichever band you're into go because it's just an unbelievable experience.

I have seen this concert (both on DVD and on TH-cam) maybe 80 billion times, and only today have I noticed that Corey says, "Come on, Paul!" at 1:25:52 just before handing the mic to Paul to say "Spit it out". Rest in peace to both Paul and Joey; one of the strongest rhythm sections in metal history.
