- I am Ashis Agarwal from Team NGOenabler and today I will discuss on one of the most important and awaited topic - How to download Form 10AC i.e. New Certificates u/s 12AB and 80G - from the New Income Tax Portal. Giving you the background very briefly, process of filling Form 10A on the income tax portal for renewal of your registration u/s 12AA/ 12A /10(23C) and 80G or taking fresh registration under the new provisions started w.e.f. 01st April, 2021.

good evening sir... sir how to know that the organisation is registered under section 80G of the income tax Act to claim deduction under the said act
You can check whether Form No. 10A or 10AB was filed or not and from there it can be checked. Else through the website of income tax, there is an option of finding the exempt list of organisations
Sir, for re-registration cases, what will the date from which approval becomes effective? 1 april 2021 or Date of approval?
In case of re-registration, it's seen that the registration is effective from AY 2022-23, which implies FY 21-22 starting from 01.04.21.

What is meant by rectify form 10AC
Rectification option is provided mainly for address etc... Once you click on it, a pop up msg will come. There it's mentioned what all can be corrected

Is it mandatory to file Form 10AB within 6 month of commencement of activity or we can file it within 3 years of provisional period??

You need to file Form 10AB within six months of start of activities

hello sir, we need to mention the 80G number in our receipt books, so which number to be considered from form no.10AC
Yes, the Unique Registration Number mentioned in Form 10AC needs to be mentioned . Alternatively, if you have already printed the vouchers/receipts, you can make the stamp of the number too!
A null folder is downloaded when I am Downloading the 10AC in the ZIP format and its empty what's the Issue in that

10AC is itself the certificate
after getting an order for provisional approval but when will we get certificate of 12A and 80G ?
This is only the certificate. You can submit it wherever required
If I Applied on Today for 12A at which date (Probably) may i Get Approved Provisional Certificate ?

Sir, we have been trying to download Form 10AC for more than 2 weeks, it always says "Access Denied". We have also found that other NGOs/ Trusts/ Societies are also facing the similar problem. We have tried with different computers, different browsers, even used Mobile Phones and TABs, but the result is always same. Please suggest accordingly.
The IT portal is not working properly from past few days. Again such technical issues are arising . You can raise E-Grievance for this mattee

Please wait! Abhi access denied aa raha hai because certificate shayad upload nahi hua hoga portal par. Ho jayega .

I have applied for 10AC on 19 Jan and showing the option to download but finding the error in how much time we can get it
I think we should wait for some more time. Atleast a month is expected.
Sir i tried downloading form 10 ac but it is comming in zip format and while trying to extract its showing null

Yes. But two separate applications has to be made and to separate certificates shall be issued .
In short, there is no more certificate as a literal 80G. Isn’t it?
