I love this movie. John Candy was an incredible actor who really shined in every role he was cast in.
Do you know what I just love John candy he was in sesame Street area 50 years before 100 years and 60 years
watch family woke guy, and they make uncles out to be pe do's .......................... im an uncle, and yup this movie inspires me.
As good as he was, John Candy didn't have to do much acting in this movie.
According to his kids, Uncle Buck was basically his real personality.
Facts, The Man was a True Legend!
Even though I didn't properly understand the scene until I was older, it was awesome that Buck still terrorised Bug, even after discovering that the girl he was trying it on with wasn't his niece.
And she was very obviously signaling she wasn’t into it and she was scared. Buck was everyone’s uncle in that movie
Bug still deserved it for trying to force himself on the girl.
"I don't wanna talk about it, I just wanna get you home" As both and Uncle and a father those words can resonate massively to a young daughter/niece. I hope when my daughters are this age my brother is looking out for them just as our Uncle Buck does!
That was the thing that made John Candy such a legend..he was funny as hell, but it almost hid just how brilliant an actor he was. That scene where he comes through the door, then realizes the girl isn't who he is looking for, the realization and heartbreak of everything she's going through, then his decision of what to do next. Every bit of it is on his face and expertly portrayed without a single world. We lost so much when we lost him.
He was a great actor one of the best ever
The way John Candy/Buck Russel goes into horror character mode with the drill when he flips the switch again is sheer gold.
Such an awesome moment, everyone would want John Candy as their uncle. Rest in Peace, John Candy, he's the real deal.
I just love him really remember him I just missed him last time so much more information on his website own character life story ture life movie made in his life time years before
As a kid I just loved Buck as a funny character. As an adult I am fully swept up in the genuine human story of a man trying to connect with his nieces and nephews.
a man stopping his easy life of arranged gamblings and free of duties
The man, you don’t always get along with, but the man who always comes to your need when you need them. That is what I call aman’s man.
Everyone gangsta until Buck drops a second golf ball
Not the hero we wanted...
But the Hero we needed.
John Candy is as a gift to humanity. His films are a joy. This is the America I would like the world to see.
I can't stand over the fact that he's been gone for more than 30 years now. I'm so relieved that Universal Studios never forget their late, great actors, like John Candy
The look in Bugs eyes when he saw that drill come through that door know. Classic! What Uncle Buck did to him afterward, Priceless! As an Uncle of Five amazing nieces, I can relate to this guy. My brother in law and I actually pulled off Bucks hatchet routine with one's boyfriend. In a joking manner, of course 😁
Buck smoking his cigar while looking for his niece at a party.
80s, baby!
After the cutscene between 0:41 and 0:54, we suddenly see Buck with a beer in his hand. One of the teens was gracious enough to hand him one. Or maybe he just took it from someone.
I have never seen a house this packed with a bunch of teenagers. Maybe I just went to the wrong parties. LOL
I did but there was always a fight and girls being overly dramatic. More stressful than it should have been.
Have you ever seen a John Mulahney stand up special? His entire Chicago experience is just as chaotic as this scene. Except for the fact that the cops were there to break up the party.
It happens, but with kids who have neglectful parents and usually have a lot of money. It's often not a good place to be.
I really loved it when those teens were so respectful to Uncle Buck!
I would've really loved Uncle Buck as a real life person and wish John Candy didn't died so damn early!
Love this movie! Classic scene
Gotta love Uncle Buck and John Candy. Just so naturally funny and talented
Glad to see universal finally recognizing John candy ❤
2:37 That face makes me laugh so hard
The way she said what did you do!!😂😂 Like she wants to be in on it!! After all of that, I can understand why she wants to hurt Bug!! What a stupid name!!😂😂
Yeah she dodged a bullet with someone named “Bug”
Happy 35th anniversary, _Uncle Buck._
Everyone loved candy
People all have so many entertainment memories of John Candy, and he passed at just 44! Tragically young and yet so much to remember
Its Gus Polinski, The Polka King of the Midwest.
I loved John Candy. Truly missed ❤
Beautiful keys and score on the background as she’s walking.
I always loved how the car never stops rocking
Truly brilliant film, love and respect to all
I have a handful of wonderful nieces, I wish I could one day be as good an uncle to them as Buck is.
He never failed to make me laugh. I felt so bad learning of his passing away
What a great movie this is. Brilliant.
One of the all time greats! His movies were a huge part of my childhood…..
When I first watched this movie, there was nothing on this planet that could have prepared me for the cut to Buck opening the trunk with Bug in it. I almost laughed myself to death.
What a wonderful scene! Rest in Peace, John Candy, you beautiful actor!
A big car for a big man. Just fitting 😁😁😁
John Candy, legend of the 80s! I miss him so much
I love how John candy helped his niece tia out.
Everybody has that one crazy ass uncle lol
I am that uncle!
I got a niece now I'll gladly be that crazy uncle for her. No one breaks her heart not unless they wanna end up somewhere alone and have to walk all the way back to town.
Tia was a bad niece to her uncle, but later apologized to him for being mean and selfish to him.
One of the best classics!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
We all need someone like Buck in our lives, ya know.
If only John Candy was still around to save the day to this day, unfortunately.
Love this movie
What a great actor, always enjoyable and enormous in any movie he was in.
This movie is so underrated. Genius!
John Candy was the best. And this was such a great movie. 😊🇨🇦
Giving that side eye with the drill
This movie had me floored. My mom recommended we watched this movie, and it reminded me of Tommy Boy, which I found pretty boring and hard to watch, so I thought I would feel the same way. Needless to say, I felt like her afterward, totally resenting the movie, but I ended up absolutely loving it
35 years. I cannot believe it's been this long. R.I.P John Candy!
UNCLE BUCK Great movie
That is phenomenal, cinematography at its finest
Even though it’s been 4 weeks thanks for uploading this i appreciate this scene more every time i watch it.
He was the real deal in this wonderful movie. Rest in peace john candy.
what a legend he was
The world John Candy lived in no longer exists.
One of the funniest movies and yet still always those sad scenes get me so hard
Uncle Buck. Classic.
This was a great movie
The favorite uncle...😂🎉 - Jennifer, my sons mom, Burton & son❤
I miss John Candy, the world would be a better place if he was still in it.
Damn. Wish he was my uncle. Never had an uncle because all my mom's siblings are women and the only brother my dad had passed away a long time ago before I was born.
John Candy was a legend
As the uncle of 2 nieces I respect the man
he was one of the best actors ever.
Clássico... John Candy faz muita falta....
John Candy forever
one of my favorite movies, jonn candy was a funny actor
2:52
I just love the double look of disappointment on Buck's.
He's disappointed that Tia isn't there but then is also greatly relieved but I guess also worried where is she.
But he's also disappointed that this girl was also dumb to sleep with Bug
love you john. It was great. I remember.
Man I’d love a 4K release of this film.
One of the best movie ever!!!!
Jhon Candy the best actor ever....
John was a talented man pursued by the same demons we all will face. RIP Candy,Belushi, Hendrix,Mama Cass,Cobain, Morrison and all the rest.
I love how he has a grey hat on, it gets taken off, and then he puts on a completely different black hat that's a different style lol
Greatest wool jacket ever
JOHN CANDY
I really need to watch this again lol
I wonder how many rooms Buck drilled the locks out of before he finally found the one Bug was in...
i wish all uncles were Buck
Doing my best lol
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles are prob the best Candy did.
R.I.P. John Candy 🍫
This is something I would do lol
He got a DIFFERENT hat!
When I got out the Army I had a party like that ...boy what a mistake (79).
It's more than a little improbable that there are that many people all crammed in with only standing room.
Holy crap that’s John Candy!
John Candy was the man🎉
9:30 "YES, SIR!"
Tim Walz rescuing his neice.
Hey Universal, remember when you made good movies? Get back to that, will ya?
it helped that Universal had a better owner back then
Was a great fan too thankyou Johan Candy r.i.p
Great movie first time lwatched iit
This hits alot differently, now that I have a niece of my own, who just turned thirteen. If a boy did this to her, all I can say is may God have mercy on him, because I will have none.
John candy is the best
So funny 😅
Busta rymez in the back ground love it when rap was rap
UNCLE BUCK
BRILLIANT MOVIE 🎥 Ie
JOHN CANDY 🍭
Bug was a scum bag a Buck knew it from the first time he met him. That girl looked way too young and Buck made sure Bug paid for it.
John candy was one of those guys who had a good heart but very clearly a nut.
4:31 says he doesn’t want to talk about it
7:01 proudly shows her what he did to Bug
It’s sad John Candy is not here to watch his movies or perform comedy or act😭😭
and how the society changed for worse
It goes from creepy slasher vibes then to superhero vibes when to door bursts open and then back to slasher vibes
