I have 3 devices connected to input without power and it works fine. As long as one HDMI is providing power the switch will work. But if you are using only DisplayPort to HDMI cables it need external power.
I have a UGreen HDMI switcher, a different model. All ports were on the back. I'm hesitant to use it because my old monitor's HDMI port just stopped working after using it a few times. I'm wondering if the switcher was the one that caused the problem. The external power is required, right?
I think the external power supply makes a difference and better than using power from HDMI which may not be enough. I had a HDMI splitter a while ago without an external power supply and it started malfunctioning after a while.
I have this particular switcher, but I do not know if I have all the plugs in the correct place. I’ve set up my AppleTV and then I put the HDMI into my Samsung TV, but I cannot get it to switch correctly. I am unclear about the HD MI port on the left-hand side of the switcher. I was recommended the switcher so I do not have to plug and unplug the HDIM cord for each product to watch the TV or the Apple TV. What goes in the left side HDMI port? I am also doing all of this in conjunction with a cable box. I am not sure how to use the small round disc and wire (for the remote? does not stick to the TV.) Would you be able to send a photo? Thank you. ML
I wish you had finished showning the setting up of the device. I am an 82 year old none techie!
im planning to use it for streaming, it seems slow in switching . thanks a lot man
I'm trying to look for a much faster one. Were you able to look for a better one?
I'm also looking for one that switches instantly, I guess it would need to store the EDID info. Did you find a solution to switche instantly?
Does it work without power?
Mine does, trying to figure out why it needs plugged in... thought maybe it was for the ir blaster but that works too not plugged in

Does it support 4K 60P ?
No 4k only at 30P
How do you turn off the switching sound?
Does the Aux port support sounds output?
Does this add to latency? I plan to use it for gaming.
can we extend our laptop screen in too three-screen by using this device
Unfortunately it's 3 inputs and 1 output
better use hdmi splitter
thx pal
what if you press next
Next will move you to the next hdmi output .
