Hello. Just the same as me i love being near the ocean. There i forage for seafood and cook on an open fire. Yes with pasta seafood goes well with it. I can remember my first wild camp and it was scary but after a few hours being on your own it is well worth it. Pitching up a tent then walking the ocean shore line is a must. Then at the end of a perfect day sit and watch the sunset. So peaceful and later at night look up and see the Stars and the moon-light casting late night shadows over the water.. Regards Mick from England..Xx
Looks a lovely place to camp. Planning my own 1st solo wild camp soon, so good to see other people doing this. It is so good for a person to be alone with nature.
Wow that looks a awesome spot. Just about to watch part 2 now lol. Really enjoying your content so far. I go on many wild camps adventures in Wales and did my first solo last spring.cant beat it ohh yeeaahh!
Amazing spot. Must get busy with campers in summer . Fair play first solo :) . I'm still gathering gear to do mine.. Can't be going out in this cold without a good sleeping pad .. admire your go get it attitude
Aw thanks Erin! That is very kind. I hope you get out to do yours soon. I think that spot does get quite busy in the summer but there is direct access from the car park so I think a lot of people stay around there. I was lucky it was empty that night. It was September; not great weather though, which may have kept people away.
Just found your channel. Loved this video! going straight to part 2 now. Nice video and great location for your first solo. Think I need to do some solo stuff on my channel. Subbing right now.
@@kfadventures7205 To be fair, It depends on what part of California you go. Some of our beaches have cliffs, trees, sand dunes, and some are just normal flat ones. I do like the trees by the beach.
Dis must be de lan dun underer . . .cause we be driven on da udder side of de car an de road! 😀😁😂🤣😎 Mmmmmm pasta! Err, as long as it isn't 'creepypasta', you should be fine in the woods! (Mr. Creeps has a channel of scary stories about the forest and forest rangers). Can you tell us more about the coast? Did I see pill boxes and the remnants of a seawall?
Hey! I have just had a quick look at Mr Creeps. 🙌 A few beaches here in the northeast of Scotland have quite a number of anti-tank defences. There are also pillboxes as you noticed. We have a local RAF base so it was a potential target during the war.
@@kfadventures7205 Mr Creeps has a lot 'danger lurks in the forest' stories lolz. Love the history . . . some places, if you kick he dirt, you find something noteworthy.
Thankss for watching 🙌 The tent is a Golite Shangr-La 3. They don't make it any more but there are similar designs out there. I much prefer teepee-style tents for all that headroom. 👌
@@kfadventures7205 great thanks, it does look spacious but I camp with my 11 & 14 year olds & thinking about it it will be a bit awkward to fit us in practically. However, if it was just me or me & another person it'd be brilliant x
Good point. We also have a bigger teepee-style tent from Tentipi which could easily fit 5. Also use a stove with it although haven't taken it out in ages. We only have the outer so if we need protection from bugs, we take something else! 😳 This is the website if you fancy a look tentipi.com/en-gb/home-tentipi-events
It is on the Moray coast in northeast Scotland. You may have heard of Findhorn - a gorgeous wee village on a bay. It has a world-renowned communal eco-village there called the Findhorn Foundation. These woods are very near there.
Well done on your first camp ☺️ once you get the first solo out the way there no stopping you 👍😊😊al pop you a sub on see you on your next wild camping adventure atb justkarl_outdoors

Wasn't expecting to see the beach I thought it was just a forest! looked great views there 👌
You should see it when the sun shines 😍😍 It's pretty unique landscape especially with the remnants of WW2 defences.

Greetings from California. ✌️ I live a few miles from the beach, but my beach doesn’t have any trees...😬😬
Hello from across the pond! At least you have a beach 😁 Yes, the forest right up to the sea here is pretty awesome 👌

Lovely spot for a wild camp. Wild camping laws are great in Scotland. Shame it's not the same here.
We have definitely got this right as long as people are respectful :)
