These stories are starting to piss me off when these people don't do a thing to stand up for themselves. He let them steal from him for ages before doing anything and then still didn't chase them out. He freaking lived there. Why didn't he tell them to leave?
why no mention of the unpaid loans, they are part part of the estate and the monies now need to be repaid and belong to the poster, surely a court would have made this ruling.
OP's first mistake was not changing all the locks himself, as soon as the will was read. They do not care about "legacy." They just want to take Grandma's assets, which now belong to OP.
How do people stand upright, yet have absolutely no spine? The proper response to all of this, from the start, is "Grandma left me this house, all y'all nasty-ass vultures bounce, or you will be forcibly bounced."
But also this all started like the day of the funeral. I feel like a few steps are missing between her death and the lawsuit. Who appointed executor? Was the will approved? Did it grant him the house or otherwise account for it? They can't just rob the house, and her estate is responsible for funeral costs. Way too little time has passed for any legal stuff to have moved along.
His first mistake was not telling everyone to GTFO of his house.
Yeah. But he fixed it.

With a family like that you're better off alone

In funeral you know who loved you vs fake ones the fake ones are dramatic ones
Some of the most toxic people we can come in contact with, can often be family members.

Your protest is correct 🤔
