    Fishing in Finland. The Zander is a close relative to walleye. Rapala is a Finnish company.

    I would like it if you would occasionally measure the length on those big walleyes like the muskie fisherman do

    Will the clackin rap work as well?

      I've had good luck with the clackin rap but I find it needs a stiffer rod to get that weight moving so I usually throw it on a medium heavy, fast action.

    I caught like 5 in a row with an unpainted lead jig and a candy wrapper..... so big shoots is that a hot new lure?

      Yup it kills so many of them. That and heat stress when the water is super warm. Sadly people seem not to care 😬

    Thank you for the tips. I am having problems with this issue with walleyes out 30-40 ft.

    • @tbauer2521
      @tbauer2521 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're hauling them out of anywhere near 40' you're going to be killing a lot of fish

    • @Justahobbyoutdoors
      @Justahobbyoutdoors 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tbauer2521 negative you should ask how deep the water is before you assume things.

    • @tbauer2521
      @tbauer2521 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Justahobbyoutdoors I took it as out of 40' of water. Never see someone referring to 40' as distance. Live and learn.

    Do you use a swivel to tie your fluorocarbon leader to your backing?

      Ashton Sullivan hey man try using the Alberto knot I just started using it. Best leader knot I know of. Or at least easiest to learn lol
