    A camera that is small, colorful, easy to walk around with, and produces good images that can be modified in camera which are easy to transfer and share. What were Lumix thinking?!?
    I love sitting in front of my computer for hours editing photo and video……NOT.
    Great video! Thank you!
    The only thing missing from this video is 4k 120p slow motion footage of you running across the streets of Osaka. Too bad the S9 can’t do that.

    Finally real content and not the drama BS which Gerald started. This is what youtube needed on this camera. Some people don't care about specs or intricate details. Its a neat little camera, a friend and I where talking about it and maybe you can explain. The LUT is pre-applied, right? If that is the case say an image could use a slight boost in the shadows, you would still have to take it in post or does it work in a completely different way than what I am thinking?

    • @benjhaisch

      The LUT is applied at the time of capture, but you can adjust later with the RAW file if you shot both of that makes sense

    • @mckinleygphotography

      @@benjhaisch Yes that makes sense! That was our debate if that is the case and you have to take it into Lightroom to apply the preset the for some it could render that feature useless. I like the idea, but I guess I will always be a RAW or Film shooter.

      @@robvision3888 Yes, I saw it. How can you trash a camera without use it or being the target audience?
      Brandon likes RED cameras for dynamic range. He thinks RED cameras make better video. Brandon has not won an Academy Awards on best cinematography that I know. I wanted to say to him instead searching for the best technology in camera try to be creative.
      I come from the Netherlands and this year the Academy Awards winner was the Dutch Cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema for the film Oppenheimer. He uses an old film camera to shoot Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. So Hoytema camera for Oppenheimer is trash as it doesn’t have the dynamic range of RED.

    • @robvision3888

      @@angeloplayforone yes, you shouldn’t trash anything a car, or a camera, or food, even bicycle until you actually try it.
      You’re right the camera doesn’t matter in order to win awards.
      However I am a RED shooter and I do prefer to shoot RED because of the RAW and Bit-rate and you can grade without degradation, it’s 6K so I can crop too. I also prefer to shoot with Panasonic with my REF because highlight rolloff for Panasonic is easier to mix with RED cinema camera footage. Sony footage highlight seems a bit “crunchy” and harder to mix with RED footage. But yes I also shoot with Sony too, mostly personal stuff not for work.
      My point is… don’t trash it if you have t tried it yet. It makes you look immature when you do that.

    • @benjhaisch

      No, a bunch of the S primes and the Sigma 28-45/1.8 got a lot of play here. That Sigma lens wasn’t out yet when I made this video so I wasn’t able to label them.

    • @markr041

      @benjhaisch What Sigma lens? You are in your posted video posing with the Lumix 26mm lens on the S9 as if you were actually using it to make the videos. I think almost all of the videos from the Osaka privileged are misleading in showing the tiny Lumix lens on the camera but never actualling using it for making their videos.
      The Sigma lenses are great on the S9, the lens you pretended to use in your posed picture is not.

      @markr041 nowhere am I pretending to be using that lens. Most of these photos wouldn’t even make sense to be a 26mm f/8 anyway. I talk about all of this in my full video though.

      @@benjhaisch There is a picture of you shooting with that 26mm f8 lens in your video. The lens you actually never used . So why are you posing with that lens on the camera? You do not identify the lens you actually used; but you show a picture of you shooting with the 26mm. You do not think that is misleading? Same as all the other paid influencers, pretending to use that lens. The lens used is as important as the camera used. No way the viewers of your video could reproduce what you did with the lens you pretended to use.
