@@JimbosGuitarPlanet I have a quick question. What brand and size of strings do you play? What size of pick? I have been using Fender 150s for Strings and Fender Mediums for picks like Ed used to use. Very cool on the 20 Watt Marshall. There is a clip of a guy on TH-cam that put the 50K mid pot in; Variaced it with 6CA7s; etc. Just nailed the sound with that amp. Used IR's also for recording. I have a Metropoulos MetroPlex II coming in a month I believe. Really looking forward to the 100watt Plexi tones.

I've been using 9.5 sets for a bit, and I'll use D'Addario or DR or Ernie Ball strings. I like the Tortex picks in the Jazz III shape, .73 to 1mm.
What's the title of the variac'ed SV20? I couldn't find it.
Let me know how the Metropoulos sounds. That guys stuff looks awesome.

Wicked! How are you running your SV20 to get that tone? Is it attenuated?

I'm using a clean boost into the front end. The Marshall's volume is at 7, but it stays in standby. For the first ten or so vids, I was taking the effects loop send and running it into a Mooer Radar and then into my interface. The tone from the send alone is way too bright, but the Radar has a power amp sim that calms it down. For the last couple of vids, I'm still using the send and the power amp sim of the Radar, but I'm using a Boss IR-200 for IRs and as an interface.
