I LOVE your take on Laeral. I have not really followed her since second/third edition, but Laeral was such a flat "goddess" character. She felt more like a Mary Sue than a real person. But in one short cartoon you gave Laeral more personality than 20 years of being a footnote in Forgotten Realms.
That's more of old Khelben than I expected to see. Fun trivia: In the Forgotten Realms game Demonstone, Khelben Blackstaff is voiced by Patrick Stewart. Now excuse me as I try and probably fail not to have the mental image of him dancing in a speedo.
Really enjoying these interviews! I must say that I'm quite missing a general description for the spells of each school of magic. The wizard progression gives good insight for them, but a quick phrase like "abjuration can increase armor class, grant elemental resistance and other specific protections" could help newcomers get the picture even better
Conjuration is easily my favorite Wizard school. The initial ability to conjure small objects _alone_ is worth the price of admission, for any aspiring adventurer. Need a crowbar? Bolt cutters? An umbrella? A hook for a grappling hook? A short sword? A stool to sit on? Always at your beck and call, with no need for spellcasting components or the expenditure of spell slots. Because Minor Conjuration is technically not a spell. Note also, the Conjurer can create any object (within the normal parameters), so long as they've seen it. You don't need to have purchased a 1000 gold spyglass. You just need to have seen one. The savings potential of this ability is astronomical.
God, your animations never fail to blow my mind. There's something about your art style that just WORK, and your sense of humor really makes these videos. Honestly, would love to see a whole cartoon series made this way Side note, I'm totally "borrowing" this pop-in from the Blackstaff in the next game I run in Waterdeep

One of my favourite things to do as a low level conjuration wizard is to duplicate keys. You don't even need to have the original key, just to have seen it. Great for getting through basic key locked doors you're not supposed to.
This one is a lot tighter than the Abjuration one. It sets the character of the speaker without that being all the video's about instead of 'talking about the school', is funny, and fits the theme. Art is great as always. Looking forward to the other videos!

But I think I fancy more of different design to Gargoyles myself, in particularly, the designs from another Animated TV series that started in '94 and shares the same Company as "The Hunch Back of Notre-Dame"...If you catch my drift.
Didn't get to play my conjuration wizard for long, but he was the main attendant for another player's noble character. Literally just used half his spells (and the minor conjuration thing) to make everything for the noble fancy. They sit at a bar, wizard move crappy tavern chair out of the way and conjures the most gaudy of golden chairs.
100% In lore she is kind of "holding herself together" with her magic, Yzma is the cleanest kind of "refreshed" looking older characters I could think of. Rounded out some corners to make her more austere and less like completely evil.
