What a performance! Still can't believe I was at this show. Bryan had been ill prior to this and almost pulled out but decided to go ahead with a reduced set. Think it was only around 45 minutes with no encore... It really flew by but it was still one of the best shows ever!

It's such a coincidence because this morning going to work I was listening to my favourite songs of his on my mp3, and I was thinking (this being spring) that no one writes lines like "The spring is turning your face to mine/I can hear your laughter/I can see your smile" anymore, and it's such a shame.
This is just absolutely brilliant. Bryan oozes class and masterfully melds suave passion with utter coolness. Superb artistry in the performance, yes...but I can deeply appreciate the genius and exquisite taste it took to assemble such a phenomenal group of performers to deliver this level of perfection. There are insufficient superlatives to describe such a wonder.

Avalon was perfect. Glad I saw Bryan Ferry once...early 90's Riverside Theater Milwaukee. I can still picture the stage and him. A memorable show.
