Agreed. When they’re on it their chemistry is great. I still can’t figure out if they’re real good friends outside of the show or more like those mythbuster guys.
Another good review guys! Been looking at some of the committee releases lately, but the prices that I am able to acquire them for are just stupid. So, not gonna try them anytime soon😩. Noticed that Bart was getting a bit of a "burn" off his 50.1% sample. Copitas tend to concentrate the alcohol vapor more, and so I try not to use them for anything over 46% ABV, to avoid the burn. Keep up the good work and SLAINTE!
Good review guys. Honestly i am a bit tired of Ardbeg line, only the Ugidail is worth buying imo. However i would love to try the "scorch" [the one you guys don't like] My current favorite Islay is Laphroaig although SMWS has spoiled me. keep up the great work.
I like the Ardcore, not in love with Heavy Vapours. I've only had the standard bottles, not the committee releases. Why do they release two different versions instead of just more of the committee release? Is there a reason other than $?
It just goes to show you how different peoples palettes are. I personally thought this was the most watered down version of any Ardbeg I’ve ever tried. Hardly any flavor whatsoever and very blah. FYI it was just the standard not the CR version.
