IMPORTANT: In the video I use the name "7daystodie wildwest". This is incorrect. Directory names MUST NOT INCLUDE A SPACE. The launch command will not work with directories containing spaces.

That's so much easier than moving mod folders around all the time, thanks Brad, great tutorial as always!

The second method is 7D2D Mod Launcher which makes life even easier with various installations. Good topic for the next YT video

Indeed, another option. I assume it lets you download mods from anywhere and group them so they can be launched together with no need to make any changes other than double clicking to start?

has a database of mods that can be installed with just a few mouse clicks, in addition, you can install your own mods from outside the list.

@@sawomirsowinski3471 I'll have to check it out. If we don't need to worry about the appdata folder at all then this is good news. In the mean time hopefully the video might help out anyone that would like to have a double click option from their desktop.

What do you do when your C drive is full though? lol This change was one of the stupidest things The Fun Pimps have ever done.

You can install the game or your mods on another drive. 1 installation of the game (13Gb?) Then several UDFs which will obviously vary in size depending on the mod.
EDIT: We'll actually be saving space not having to duplicate the game installation. I might be missing something though?

@@TallmanBradGameplay For sure. Unless of course there are more mod creators like the creator of the "Sorcery" mod. He hard coded the location into the mod. Dll's I think. So you literally can't put it anywhere else.
I talked to Spherii recently and he said he's working on an update for the mod launcher that would solve the problem as well.
I think based on an idea that we both had at the same time. Have more than one mods folder in appdata and just rename them upon launch so that the current mod you are running is in a folder named "mods".
