I had the great privilege to see Dolores Keane and John Faulkner perform in Clarenville Newfoundland many years ago. It remains one of the amazing highlights of my concert going experience.
What a beautiful recording! Dolores’ voice is one of the most beautiful to me, and the song, simple and exquisite. Thank you so much for posting this.❤
What a treat the very great Ciarán Mac Mathúna, I could listen to that man talking about music forevermore also with the Queen of Connemara and of all Ireland Dolores Keane & the great John Faulkner,
@@marianlynch4829 I am so curious, Marian, in what ways you speak of. I am a Canadian and Ireland is my most favourite place in the world to visit and my son, his wife, and my grandkids are there. I'd love to hear more from you. Thank you
@@NancyLynn It's called diversity...Walking in many parts of Dublin today hardly any Irish...so many different people of all races...and it's getting like that in many towns through out Ireland. So many migrants and refugees ( many are not refugees) . Mosques in many places. Perhaps that doesn't bother you ..I don't know...but it sure as hell bothers me.
@@marianlynch4829 I wonder if the millioms of Irish people who left Irelamd for a better life were met with like minded people like you Martin would life have been even more difficult for them for having to leave there country in the first place. I guess you have never traveled much or live in a different country to have such a closed mind.

What a warm female Voice. What a calm performance 👏👏👏
My later father listening to Ciarán Mac Mathúna on the radio every Sunday morning is one of my great memories from childhood.
You're posting all my favorites...One of the very best Irish singers that ever lived...and what a beautiful accompaniment.
Such a wonderful distinctive voice
I could listen to Dolores sing all day ❤
And night...
God,what a beautiful voice! She sings naturally without pretension and it comes from the depths of an old soul.
When time stands still....wonderful, thank you.
Delores at her best with her beloved husband Johnny, maybe it's him she's really singing about
Will the likes of that ever be heard again ? God bless them both what talent
Fabulous music, beautiful singing, lovely
This is beautiful. Why is a song like this never on the Eurovision Song Contest?
Irelands best female singer
Very interesting, I wish people sang like this more often.
Unbelievably beautiful performance. entrancing
Absolutely brilliant, Dolores was a genius.

An amazing voice.
Wow!! What a TREASURE!!❤️
A really fine natural singer...like her aunts.
I so wisH I was sitting in the old country now (from Canada). Thanks for sharing.
The old country is not the same any more ...unrecognisable. This makes me cry ...because Ireland has changed so much and not for the better.
