I personally said that Lara is not a storyteller but a storyliver. She lives the song emotions as she sings the words, it’s so authentic that it’s make yourself feel it and you are watching this as you do attending a movie in a theater.
She's always been like that but got better and better. There's 3 reactions running on the net from this specific show. Caruso, Je suis Malade and Adagio. All three are awesome, she's that great.
I only became aware of Lara about a month ago. She is the best performer that rivals or outdoes anyone you care to mention... World-class. Her singing/voice is impeccable, no auto-tune no "pitch correcting" software . Natural clarity without effort. The second to last note f#, I think, just falls out of her like it is just a normal every day occurrence. Just outstanding.😂😘💖✌👍👏👏
Lara is so much more than just a "singer". She is a complete performer, her singing is flaweless, her stage presence, facial expressions, conveying of emotoins, interpreting the lyrics.... She is unique, the one and only, The Queen of Emotions, Lara Fabian.
Thank you for your analysis of this outstanding performance. I've watched numerous reaction videos of this piece and yours is the most informative. In my opinion this is the greatest performance I have ever witnessed.
👸🏼 The one and only Queen Lara 😍🤎😍 She’s the “whole package” 🙌🏻 Perfection in every single way! What I see nowadays are singers using songs to showcase their pipes. Lara uses her stunning voice, body and soul as instruments to showcase songs. She’d do anything to deliver the message. What makes Lara unique is her capacity to convey emotion while she effortlessly travels through high and low notes, never neglecting the belcanto.
@raquelra5878 Lara knows exactly what is " belcanto" ( it's an Italian word, it's written like this) because she does have a classical training, even if she is really chamaleontic and can sing any gender.. But of course the way she breath and give a lot of air and sustain and vibrato shows her classical formation ... And you're right for something I always say... Something that people always forget... A real singer is able to sing in all registers, is able to switch into them easily and able to mix them, in order to get a better resonance , as long as in a low or high tone, with clear and warm tone, paying attention to any vowels and consonants.. Unfortunately what we got nowadays is a lot of "new singers " looking up for spectacle and success that only go on a stage and try to reach the highest notes to impress... This is not singing.... Lara is a masterclass on it, her way to deliver her story is amazing.. Every different songs, she just lives them and put the right "color and nuances" in the right point. And in this song she does something really difficult and "risky" (intentionally of course).. She breath heavily, (not what they teach you to do in vocal lessons) , she brings her voice into a conversional level..she is almost cracking with her voice , it's looks like she is crying, but she is not... She is absolutely conscious of what she is doing.. Because she wants to deliver sadness, pain, emotion, passion.. That's what the song is talking about.. She is sick, and shows it with all, face, eyes, body, her stage presence.. . And in order to do that , you need to be really, really well trained, you need to be a masterclass.. You need to have an amazing breath control and muscles control..your mouth and lips muscles.. To memorize the right positions to take... That's why she is absolutely the best, after so many years I started caring about music, I never heard another singer able to do it like her... So effortlessly... She is a queen ❤
@@Francesco71rm Exactly! To put it simply she’s amazing. 🙌🏻 The best in my opinion! 👸🏼 No one comes not even close to her in terms of technique and charisma. When Lara sings, it’s like she’s singing only to you. The level of intimacy that she creates with her audience is remarkable. And thanks for the insightful reply. 🤗
Lara stands as the unparalleled maestro of emotive performance, her artistry radiating a rare and exceptional depth. Her ability to convey emotion with such profound sensitivity and nuance elevates her to a level of distinction and originality that is truly unmatched.
This was a very tremendous reaction my friend Melvin!!!....Thank you for continuing to accept our suggestions to react to more songs by Goddess Lara Fabian!!....And you still haven't seen anything!!...Lol !!...I laughed a lot when you said that Lara "is a problem", because that's what Celine Dion's team thought at the time when Lara ventured into the United States and that's why they did everything possible to sabotage her career in that country, so that Celine would not have competition of such magnitude...And they did it!!....That is why Lara is not well known in the USA...And that is why she had to concentrate on making her career in Europe and in the rest of the world, where she is very famous and recognized...You can already see why Dimash has her as his main idol and inspiration...One big hug for you Melvin and thank you for falling in love with our Goddess Lara!!
I love this song and watched many reactions from "vocal Coaches", very impressed with your communication and skill in teaching how to express and interpret a song, as both a listener and a singer. Thanks for that.
Thank you Mr. Harris. Love your music reactions - authentic and very insightful about not just singing a great song/melody BUT how to deliver it Live on stage and draw the audience in. Lara is so captivating with her performance all the time.
This woman is a gift from God. I was at her concert back in April. She is even better now. I'm so glad you've discovered this queen. Thanks for the reaction, Mr Harris❤
Welcome to the amazing world of the best female vocaliste of this century, she is now 54yo, still got a great voice, glamour look, writing new songs and touring the world, she is the full package.I greatly enjoy your honest reaction and opinion, i am a new member of your channel
I loved the woman in her 30 year with her intensity and her vocal performances. I loved the 40 year old with her willingness to discover many different musical styles, always with a fabulous voice. And I love the woman in her 50s who has managed to preserve her voice through hard work, adapting to the evolution of her voice while retaining that little bit of enthusiasm and complicity that makes us melt. I will love you forever and ever Even if you start rap
“Je suis Malade”, now a french classic, was written by famous French singer & songwriter Serge Lama together with composer/singer Alice Dona in 1973. This is based on his own experience and he was the original performer, hence some lyrics are a bit male-oriented (eg my mother leaves me, whiskies, I pour my blood in your body, …). When Serge Lama had a dinner with Alice Dona and told her about his obsessive love that was leading to a road block, she came back home and composed the music in a couple of hours. The morning after, she presented him the music and he wrote the lyrics in … 20 minutes. Serge Lama was the original performer in 1973, it started to be promoted on the radio, and the song was brought to fame only when, a few months after, Dalida covered it. She was an absolute mega star in France, another emotional powerhouse, and this song resonated very much with her own feelings. Her success with this song transformed it into a french classic, and started to make it famous abroad. But it is Lara Fabian that really made this song a very popular song in many countries with her cover in the mid 90s. At that time Dalida had already passed away, but Serge Lama was (and is) still alive. Dalida and Serge were two inspirations for Lara, so she sent an audio copy to Serge of her version. She was unknown at that time in France but he was so impressed with her vocal skills and her emotions rendering that he invited her in France to sing it as a duet during his own Paris concert in January 1995. It was a triumph. So he sat in a front row seat and asked her to sing it again alone. Lara also had made some subtle changes to the song that gave it even more power. Serge and Lara became good friends and performed several other duets later on. The 1999 version ("From Lara with Love" Concert in Montreal) th-cam.com/video/eHSyk4SGtuY/w-d-xo.html is legendary internationally and has attracted many artists to do a cover, even from non french-speaking countries. The most recent ones I am aware of are from italian singer Giulia Falcone, from the korean singer Choi Sung Hoon or from the korean band Forestella. Lara is used to perform the song very differently in each of her tour and for instance the En Toute Intimité, 2003, Paris Olympia version is even more dramatic th-cam.com/video/SyILdRAOS88/w-d-xo.html
You are exactly right. Each time she sings this song it is different, even to this day. There are so many live versions out there. The version in her In toute intimité concert is completely devastating.
Her singing and songs are beautiful, gorgeous, delicte. But not watching, reacting to her live performances is a crime against humanity. :D Experiencing her presence, her expressions, her performance is just.... breathtaking.
I am glad that I started listening to Lara because of Dimash. I feel the same about her as you. The other female singer I can think of, who is so expressive, is Janis Joplin.
Thank You for Your reaction! We knew You'll like her performance!) You should react to the song "Broken Vov" from this concert "From Lara with Love" - this song she wrote with her ex-fiance, after they broke up. You are absolutely right that her transmission of emotions is exceptional, so watch this peace of art, please!
More information on Lara Fabian: Lara is recognized as one of the best vocalist ever seen on earth and all professionals list her in the top vocalist tier with Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Aretha, Shirley Bassey, Lisa Fischer, .... In my personal opinion, she is even the best. There are a few vocal characteristics that are her signature: her famous resonance for instance that allows her to sing acapella without mic in venues with 10,000+ attendees. Her nickname in the singing world is "the ring" due to this. I would also list her amazing phrasing, breath management and her pleasant tone even when belting in her upper register. So she is one of the best vocalist ever, but on top of that, she adds a few things that make her an absolute package with no equivalence: • she speaks 2 languages natively (french, italian), and 2 others fluently (english, spanish), can speak a bit of dutch (and sicilian), and understand quite well russian and portuguese. She has sung in 12 languages in total • she is an amazing songwriter and wrote lyrics for 200+ songs, in the 4 languages she speaks fluently. She often co-composes the music, and is at the source of the melodic line. • she acts and performs on stage as nobody else, she colors and reveals the meaning of every single word in the songs, and her ability to emote, to draw you in is second to none • she is the sweetest soul on earth, very humble, down to earth and benevolent. She likes to meet others, and her fans are always pleasantly surprised when this happens. A quick background on her and her career: She is belgian, her father is flemish and grand mother on father side is dutch, but she also has italian roots (her mother is from sicilia) and American roots ( the father of her mother is from Detroit). She had been raised in Sicilia first for 7 years then in Belgium so she speaks both italian and french as native languages. She has been classically trained on vocal, piano and songs composition for 10 years ( from 8 to 18) in the Brussels Royal Conservatory. She is still having vocal lessons and training several times a week today. She only moved away from opera to pop because she is first and foremost a songwriter. After her Eurovision participation in 1988 (4th), she really started her career in Canada in the early 90s, more precisely in Quebec, the french-speaking part of Canada. She had been living for years in Montreal and has also Canadian citizenship. She moved to Sicilia end of 2022. She became very famous in Quebec in the early 90s with several double platine records and then conquered France in 1996/1997 (she topped charts there and some of her songs such as "Je t'aime" or "Tout" became classics of the french music). In 2000, she was about to penetrate the US Market, with a lot of media initial interest. Her first english song (I will love again), a pop dance song, stayed number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart for 58 weeks in a row and was number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her Album ("Lara Fabian") was about to become a massive hit, and the concert "From Lara With Love" was recorded to be broadcasted everywhere in the US. This concert is legendary, packed with masterpieces (covered by many great vocalists later on). But a dispute with Sony on artistry directions, and the will from Celine Dion's staff to block her progress in the US, completely broke this plan. She thus refocused back on Europe and made huge success there, extending her reach to Eastern Europe and Central Asia where she became an absolute superstar through her collaboration with Igor Krutoy during several years. She is absolutely massive in Russia for instance. She is also a star in Brazil as her song "Love By Grace", used as the soundtrack for a very famous soap opera, topped the charts for months and become a recurrent in the local singing contests since then. Many of her songs became classics and were covered by the other singing legends: Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Josh Groban (they are friends and he told she is a role model for him), Linda Eder, … With her success in Europe, Brazil and part of Asia, she is the inspiration of the new generation of vocalists: most of them are coming from there. Thru their covers of Lara Fabian songs, USA and many other countries are now rediscovering her. She is Dimash's idol: • I’ve read somewhere that, when he was a child, he was listening her songs every night to get asleep. • He covered many of her songs, most of these were composed by Igor Krutoy and written by by Lara. Out of my mind I can list: ○ Adagio (She wrote it and is the original performer), ○ Mademoiselle Hyde (she wrote it and is the original performer), ○ Love of Tired Swans (she wrote the song in French under the title "Je t'aime encore" and was the original performer of the french then the russian versions, Dimash covered the russian version) ○ Ascolta La Voce / Vocalize (this was a pure vocalization and she was the original performer, then lyrics were added for Dimash and it was rebranded as "Know") • She also wrote the lyrics of Dimash's song "Your Love". • And she covered "Love is like a dream" before him (song from Igor Krutoy originally performed by Alla Pugacheva). • Finally, they also performed "Ti Amo Cosi" together, in trio with Aida Garafulina: this is a song that she performed originally with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Sumi Jo then again later with Dmitri and Alina Yarovaya, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. Dimash is now also working with Igor Krutoy: Igor and Dimash connected after his Adagio cover, also endorsed by Lara. Igor came back from retirement and composed severals songs for him after it. Many other top vocalists from the current generation covered her songs, some have Lara as a role model and big inspiration (singers from every region in the world: from China and Taiwan, to Philippines, Indonesia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Netherlands, Greece, Israel, Lebanon, Italy, France, Belgium, Norway, UK, USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Central Africa, …) ○ Floor Jansen (Adagio), ○ Polina Gagarina (Adagio, Je t’aime), ○ Diana Ankudinova (Tomorrow is a lie), ○ Morissette Amon (Broken Vow), ○ Gabriel Henrique (Love by Grace), ○ Cakra Khan (Broken Vow), ○ Charice Penpengco (Adagio), ○ Katrina Velarde (Broken Vow), ○ Regine Velasquez (Broken Vow), ○ Dmitri Hvorostovsky (Adagio), ○ Giulia Falcone (Adagio, Caruso, Je suis malade, Je t'aime), ○ Forestella (Je suis Malade), ○ Almira (from 4th Impact band) (Broken Vow), ○ Gigi de Lana (Broken Vow) ○ Julie Anne san Jose (Adagio, Broken Vow), ○ Rimar ( Adagio, Broken Vow, Know), ○ Il Divo (Adagio) ○ Daria Bentsa (I guess I loved you), ○ Sarah Geronimo (Broken Vow) ○ Laura Bretan ( Adagio, Caruso), ○ Jackie Evancho (Je t’aime, Caruso and Broken Vow, BV rewritten as « Imaginer » by Lara for Jackie), ○ Harrison Craig (Broken Vow), ○ Amir (Je t’aime), ○ Pauline Aguirre (Adagio)), ○ George Peris (Broken Vow, Humana), ○ Vitas (Adagio), ○ Wanessa Camargo (Love by Grace), ○ Anastasia Luna (Adagio), ○ Jeck (Je T’Aime), ○ Evgenia Fanfara (Adagio), ○ Anne Sila (pas sans toi, Tu es mon autre), ○ The Canadian Tenors (Adagio), ○ Anna Eriksson (Je suis malade), ○ Choi Sung Hoon (Je suis malade), ○ Soprano Turetsky band (Adagio), ○ Sarah Naura Irbah (Mademoiselle Hyde), ○ Elisabetta Rinaldi (Adagio), ○ Alyona Yarushina (Adagio), ○ Marie Payet (Pas sans toi), ○ Laurh (Immortelle), ○ Inger Lise Hope (Adagio), ○ Håkon Sønsterud Tollefsrød (Broken Vow), ○ Flora Tandi (Bambina), ○ Cindy Chao (Yeliel My Angel), ○ Majda Roumi (Adagio), ○ Abraham Mateo (Adagio), ○ Petra Berger (Adagio, Broken Vow), ○ Russel Watson (Adagio), ○ Katerina Maslova (Je t’aime, I guess I loved you) ○ Annointed (Love by Grace), ○ Sevara Nazarkhan (Je t’aime) ○ .... NB: Lara did cover Caruso , Je suis malade, and Love by grace, these are not her originals, but I mention these here as the related artists were attracted to cover it again after listening to Lara’s version. Today, Lara still has an amazing voice and tone and can still reach the 5th octave with resonance ; she still offers these emotive renditions that are her unique signature. In June 2022, she kicked off a WW tour and stunned her fans once again with 5 magical concerts in Canada. She completed the europe part in September/October 2022 and I attended a concert from this tour. It was packed and she was again spectacular. On April, May, June 2023 she had again some wonderful concerts in Tbilissi, Georgia, then in Ouzbekhistan, Kazakhstan, Romania. She is about to release a new album and just completed another popular tour in eastern europe (Czech Republic, Moldavia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkiye, Hungary) and in Canada in april-june 2024. She also appeared as a guest in some big events such as Hauser’s concert in Royal Albert Hall (May 9th 2024). Then, after some rest and a few TV Shows, she will tour France in 2025. The first song of her new album (titled "Ta Peine" - Your Sorrow) was released late January 2024 and is a success in France. Her album is expected to be released in fall 2024. Sorry if I was long, but I hope this gives some context on Lara.
Mr Harris, seguimos esperando tu reacción a “Adagio” interpretada por Dimash, te sorprenderá el tributo que le hizo a Lara, demostrando su admiración y respeto por ella.
I enjoyed your comments about how she communicates the lyric sentiments to the audience. She throws herself into it entirely. I wish you had seen a less edited version of this performance. The person who posted this cut off the video right after the end of the last note. Lara just stood with her head down, trembling, for several seconds after, and it looked like it took a minute or two for her to sort of find her way back to the here and now. Here's a link to another posting where you can see it, if you'd like. th-cam.com/video/eHSyk4SGtuY/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction to one of the masters of emotions the wonderful Lara. You should definitely react to 3 other amazing performances from this concert, "Adagio" "Caruso" and "Broken Vow." Another fantastic young singer you should also react to is 20 year old Lucy Thomas from the UK. One of her 70 + videos has nearly 50 million views and she has released 5 studio albums. Many reactors have said she has the most beautiful voice on the planet, I'd love to know what you think?

Loved your reaction to Lara. But, may I suggest you show the translated lyrics on your video....we could not see them here. Also, always play Lara live not a music video (big big difference). .. Last but not least, please play the video to the complete end...on this video, you missed out on an important Lara reaction. This is what music students should see. Below, Eric Sicard wrote lots of great info on Lara and her music. He also sent you links to many of her performances. He is a good source of info. Hope you will continue reacting to Lara.
Please to Lara Fabian's "Caruso". Some of the best singers covered this iconic classic, including the great Pavarotti, but even Lucio Dalla who wrote the song said that Lara's cover is the best. As usual, her live version is the best. Please don't forget to turn on the close captioning for this Italian song: th-cam.com/video/BP2KnLemT78/w-d-xo.html
Lara's songs are rich and varied 15 records over 140 songs don't be content with her early live performances from the 2000s with these vocal performances Lara is much more than that some spectacular tracks "I an a Wa"th-cam.com/video/mKLdLox918A/w-d-xo.html "l'oubli"th-cam.com/video/3ob-a4tPNcg/w-d-xo.html "dance"th-cam.com/video/nHYi7rYD1yk/w-d-xo.html "par amour"th-cam.com/video/rjrTd8VeP64/w-d-xo.html "tango"th-cam.com/video/9p1UrKzYti0/w-d-xo.html "papillon"th-cam.com/video/dzWit_mevK0/w-d-xo.html and many more to discover Lara Fabian is a true artist, author, composer and performer. a sunny woman who catches you like a moth in the light. lara the best of humanity....
for this video it's a shame that it ends so quickly, on others of the same moment, we see her having trouble getting out of the song while the audience applauds her standing up. you should be interested in the 2003 version of the same song by Lara (TH-cam), in terms of emotion it's a pinnacle.
This might be the most impressive song and the most requested, but she has a never ending stream of this kind of performances, Caruso is another one (and so you add another language lol) I love when experts like you that didn't know her or barely knew her (because they are from the USA most likely) are shocked by this fact We have to blame Sony for that, but it's never too late
Hello from South France Mr. HArris, 🌴🌞 10:16 What you say about musicians playing with a singer who shares all his emotions with his public can never be as accurate as the drummer (Abraham Laboriel Jr.) who plays with Mylène Farmer in the final of the concert for the song: “Mylène Farmer - Avant que l'ombre... - Avant que l'ombre... à Bercy Live (Clip Officiel)” available on Mylène Farmer Official YT Channel. You can add the French subtitles to the video's setting and then use the automatic translation to understand what she sings. You'll see him totally in trans, totally carried by this incredible singer who is Mylène (I advise you that if you try Mylène one time in live, you'll never leave her, she's too much magnetic. Her shows and connection with her public is totally something else on this Earth).
Well, I would suggest reacting to Eva Cassidy's Over the Rainbow live then, also a beautiful example of presence, and mostly emotion. Just overall a must-have experience, if you haven't had the luck yet...
Hey, how's going? I so glade you've been discovering more about Lara's. I really recommend you to react to of most difficult song of hers. I think only few singer in the world could sing this one. At the end she holds a C5 in chest voice for 19 seconds. She wrote this song as well. Lara Fabian - You're Not From Here (Live). ❤ th-cam.com/video/Vv8XFXKXRLI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZsRC_BMc-GUZeaxn
@@jimmybondy9450 Dimash is much better now, when he is older, and is better in songs from his nation ... But Adagio is one of his most "artifficial" interpretations. Listen to Autumn strong (Arnau konc.) or Mahabhat Beermahan ... For a man he has very special vocie tone and colour. other qualities. And in delivery (as older) is much better. HE IS A MAN now (not BOY anymore).😉
Come on.. YOU have got to check "Lara Fabian live in Paris 2001 Je t'aime" And don't forget to get one with the subtitles.. subscribing just so I can see you react to it :)
SHE HAS IT ALL - ULTIMATE QUEEN of delivery, "method singing") 🥰🥰🥰
I personally said that Lara is not a storyteller but a storyliver. She lives the song emotions as she sings the words, it’s so authentic that it’s make yourself feel it and you are watching this as you do attending a movie in a theater.

Great reaction to.. for me, the greatest of them all...Lara Fabian is untuchable. Masterclass in every way. Cheers from a finn in Sweden.
Mr. Harris is going to LOVE her live performance of Caruso ❤ Its a special one..
Try Yentl medley cover live at centre Molson Canada then she can go Broadway like as well.
@raquelra5878 Lara knows exactly what is " belcanto"
( it's an Italian word, it's written like this) because she does have a classical training, even if she is really chamaleontic and can sing any gender..
Every different songs, she just lives them
and put the right "color and nuances" in the right point.
Lara is The Queen of Resonance and vowel coordination. She is The Ring. The perfect singer
Si tu as le pouvoir d influencer Mr Harris, je verrai bien Caruso ensuite :)

@@roimerlopez1275 I love you Roimer for tirelessly suggesting Dimash and Lara to reactors :)
I love this song and watched many reactions from "vocal Coaches", very impressed with your communication and skill in teaching how to express and interpret a song, as both a listener and a singer. Thanks for that.
Dimash adores her and emulates her way of singing.
Thank you for your lovely reaction to our beloved Lara. Your students are lucky to have you as their teacher and will learn much from her.
I agree 100%. Her way of emoting is overwhelming in the most wonderful way.
First time watching you. Great reaction. Lara is Master Class.
Best femele singer in word another level is so beautiful
Thank you Mr. Harris. Love your music reactions - authentic and very insightful about not just singing a great song/melody BUT how to deliver it Live on stage and draw the audience in. Lara is so captivating with her performance all the time.
She is a Mesmerizing Story Singer and and outstanding sate artist
I could listen to you all day. Your students are lucky !
Great reaction, on this second time with Lara, you defined her so well. She inspired Dimash in the narration of a song because she is his idol.
The most Beautiful voice on earth ❤
This woman is a gift from God. I was at her concert back in April. She is even better now.
I'm so glad you've discovered this queen. Thanks for the reaction, Mr Harris❤
The Ultimate Queen in action 👸🏼

She's one of the best and one of Dimash's biggest influences
Broken Vow from the same concert is a must. The entire concert, From Lara with Love, is fantastic.
I will love you forever and ever
Even if you start rap
The 1999 version ("From Lara with Love" Concert in Montreal)
th-cam.com/video/eHSyk4SGtuY/w-d-xo.html
is legendary internationally and has attracted many artists to do a cover, even from non french-speaking countries.
The most recent ones I am aware of are from italian singer Giulia Falcone, from the korean singer Choi Sung Hoon or from the korean band Forestella.
Lara is used to perform the song very differently in each of her tour and for instance the En Toute Intimité, 2003, Paris Olympia version is even more dramatic

😊lara and dimash know each other and even sang together.lara wrote a song for dimash....😊
Hi angel! I m a Huge fan of both singers. Can you pls tell me which song Lara wrote for Dimash? Thank You!
@scentstoryteller7 sure, ADAGIO they even sang it together there's a video, you can watch it. bye.
Simply said, in all her performance, Lara sings from her soul to our soul!
Love Lara ❤️
Love from Denmark ❤️
You are exactly right. Each time she sings this song it is different, even to this day. There are so many live versions out there. The version in her In toute intimité concert is completely devastating.
Her singing and songs are beautiful, gorgeous, delicte. But not watching, reacting to her live performances is a crime against humanity. :D
Experiencing her presence, her expressions, her performance is just.... breathtaking.
Yes. This is a MASTERCLASS. She is Dimash's idol, and you can see why.
Lara Fabian is Fantastic 😍
Gracias Mr. h

Lara la mejor intérprete y voz femenina.

I am glad that I started listening to Lara because of Dimash. I feel the same about her as you. The other female singer I can think of, who is so expressive, is Janis Joplin.
I started watching Dimash because of Lara , I’ve been listening to her for years
Lovely,Lara! Thank you for your comments and reaction!❤️

More information on Lara Fabian:
Lara is recognized as one of the best vocalist ever seen on earth and all professionals list her in the top vocalist tier with Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Aretha, Shirley Bassey, Lisa Fischer, ....
So she is one of the best vocalist ever, but on top of that, she adds a few things that make her an absolute package with no equivalence:
• she speaks 2 languages natively (french, italian), and 2 others fluently (english, spanish), can speak a bit of dutch (and sicilian), and understand quite well russian and portuguese. She has sung in 12 languages in total
• she is an amazing songwriter and wrote lyrics for 200+ songs, in the 4 languages she speaks fluently. She often co-composes the music, and is at the source of the melodic line.
• she acts and performs on stage as nobody else, she colors and reveals the meaning of every single word in the songs, and her ability to emote, to draw you in is second to none
• she is the sweetest soul on earth, very humble, down to earth and benevolent. She likes to meet others, and her fans are always pleasantly surprised when this happens.
A quick background on her and her career:
She is belgian, her father is flemish and grand mother on father side is dutch, but she also has italian roots (her mother is from sicilia) and American roots ( the father of her mother is from Detroit).
Many of her songs became classics and were covered by the other singing legends: Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Josh Groban (they are friends and he told she is a role model for him), Linda Eder, …
With her success in Europe, Brazil and part of Asia, she is the inspiration of the new generation of vocalists: most of them are coming from there.
Thru their covers of Lara Fabian songs, USA and many other countries are now rediscovering her.
She is Dimash's idol:
• I’ve read somewhere that, when he was a child, he was listening her songs every night to get asleep.
• He covered many of her songs, most of these were composed by Igor Krutoy and written by by Lara.
Out of my mind I can list:
○ Adagio (She wrote it and is the original performer),
○ Mademoiselle Hyde (she wrote it and is the original performer),
○ Love of Tired Swans (she wrote the song in French under the title "Je t'aime encore" and was the original performer of the french then the russian versions, Dimash covered the russian version)
○ Ascolta La Voce / Vocalize (this was a pure vocalization and she was the original performer, then lyrics were added for Dimash and it was rebranded as "Know")
• She also wrote the lyrics of Dimash's song "Your Love".
Many other top vocalists from the current generation covered her songs, some have Lara as a role model and big inspiration (singers from every region in the world: from China and Taiwan, to Philippines, Indonesia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Netherlands, Greece, Israel, Lebanon, Italy, France, Belgium, Norway, UK, USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Central Africa, …)

Je suis toujours émerveillé de voir la réaction des '' reactors'' lorsqu'ils découvrent pour la première fois Lara
You must watch the Yentl Medely
Make sure you look after the performance. She forgot her name, for a minute.
Finaly you chose Lara live, there is in full potential.
You can see why Dimash was inspired by Lara growing up❤
I love Lara !! Mote please
great reaction x

Watch until the very end-you will see how deeply she felt this song.

You should try Lara Fabian - Caruso Live !😮
Next I would warmly suggest that you would react "Caruso" from the same lice concert.
for this video it's a shame that it ends so quickly, on others of the same moment, we see her having trouble getting out of the song while the audience applauds her standing up.
you should be interested in the 2003 version of the same song by Lara (TH-cam), in terms of emotion it's a pinnacle.
I don't think you had the words this time, but if you did, you would be broken inside.
You have to listen „Adagio“ and Caruso of here. Greetings from Germany
This might be the most impressive song and the most requested, but she has a never ending stream of this kind of performances, Caruso is another one (and so you add another language lol)
I love when experts like you that didn't know her or barely knew her (because they are from the USA most likely) are shocked by this fact
We have to blame Sony for that, but it's never too late
Hello from South France Mr. HArris, 🌴🌞
10:16 What you say about musicians playing with a singer who shares all his emotions with his public can never be as accurate as the drummer (Abraham Laboriel Jr.) who plays with Mylène Farmer in the final of the concert for the song: “Mylène Farmer - Avant que l'ombre...
Hey Rick:
You must have Belvin listen to her song, “Broken Vow!” It is an incredible powerhouse of emotional delivery and vocal perfection!
❤
Well, I would suggest reacting to Eva Cassidy's Over the Rainbow live then, also a beautiful example of presence, and mostly emotion. Just overall a must-have experience, if you haven't had the luck yet...
You definitivly have too watch Jacques Brel "dans le port d'Amsterdam" or "ne me quitte pas".
Lara celine dion and barbrs streisand are on point every note. But laras voice is strong with an unmatched vocal viscosity....
👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏🇰🇿
Hey, how's going? I so glade you've been discovering more about Lara's. I really recommend you to react to of most difficult song of hers. I think only few singer in the world could sing this one. At the end she holds a C5 in chest voice for 19 seconds. She wrote this song as well.
Lara Fabian - You're Not From Here (Live). ❤

Dimash does not move me at all unlike Lara
Same forme. Her voice is so elegant and captivating. I could listen to her all day... The last Dimash song I stopped before it ended.
I love Dimash's voice, but Lara is definitely superior.
Respect the artiste and dont play piano when she singing 😢
Come on.. YOU have got to check "Lara Fabian live in Paris 2001 Je t'aime" And don't forget to get one with the subtitles.. subscribing just so I can see you react to it :)
