Meanwhile, Werdum relocated to the area to acclimate to the altitude and came in far better prepared than Cain. He also fought far better than Cain and simply was the better fighter, something I think people need to start admitting rather than continue to make excuses for Cain. Furthermore, Cain's entire career was hampered and shortened by his own idiotic approach to training, and he held up the division for years while he was on the shelf and only ever defended his belt against the same two fighters across both reigns, JDS and Bigfoot.
