Let's ignore the massive loading times on NGCD for a second - The game looks beautiful on both consoles. I remember back in the days, i got this game for my Japanese DC, and i remember i forgot to play, i was just sitting looking at the background graphics and little animations.
I my internet keep cutting out causing the video to stop. No wait that was just the Neo Geo CD having load after the character match introductions. 1. The Menus are changed with different options. The Dreamcast comes with survival mode. 3. I would prefer the Neo Geo CD's joystick. It's more suited for the genre. However I'm aware of the microswitches failing. 4. The Neo Geo CD's end match character quotes are in Portuguese. While everything else is a mixture of Japanese and English. Interesting.

CDZ loading times a bit better, 40 secs from menu into the fight (instead of the 1m15 in this video) but agreed because of the games becoming more graphically intense with more animation frames, the console was struggling and not designed for such big games, so by 1998-1999 i imagine owners were just glad to get a port and not bothered having to wait a minute. But hey it’s no different now having to wait for constant adverts on TH-cam or whatever to watch the next 5 minute video 😂
Dreamcast version by a landslide, however the Japanese release is the best version (either version of the Japanese release, they are both the same) due to it being uncensored. Also, little known feature but the Dreamcast version has a one button super move option, just press the right trigger when you have a super meter and it will activate. Really helps to not have to memorize every character's super move! This game should have never been ported to the Neo Geo CD, it is a dreadful port due to load time and cut animations.
If you are planning to have a games night with the gang, break out the DC version of most fighting games, you will literally play twice as many games for the night.

In the frame rate section, Neo Geo CD offers a smoother experience of a fighting game. And this may be lost due to the higher resolution of Dreamcast. In any case, Neo Geo offers the best experience of its games.

Mesmo se a versão de neo geo CD fosse melhor que a de Dreamcast em termos de jogabilidade, daria pra jogar através do emulador neo4all. E se jogar ambascas versões pelo gdemu ficam sem load times 😊
The neo geo cd has an option to turn off those fancy menus,. intros, and animations and start right away with the fights, that way is far more torerable. Still prefer that version. Still a Neogeo game on a neogeo platform instead of a port on a completely different hardware.
For many reasons I consider the Dreamcast version to be the best! no loading times, better colors and brightness, much more balanced graphics details and a better presentation in general. While the NeoGeo version is a little more faithful to your own home gaming rooms, it lacks extras and looks a little paler in comparison. The Dreamcast was undoubtedly a great machine capable of hosting authentic Arcade titles. 😃😍🤪
oh my god neo geo had to load all the time??? well neogeo cd is a very super old system and dreamcast was the latest. so ofc dreamcast load faster. it isnt fair comparing a really old neogeo cd to a much more advance system like dreamcast
16:41 muchos ports (incluyendo estos dos) fallan al cargar este escenario. No cuentan con el efecto distorsionado de fuego. El único port que he visto que si lo tiene es el de Code Mystics para PS4 y PS Vita.
Neo Geo Cd não deveria ter sido lançado ! Não é possível que os desenvolvedores acharam que ninguém reclamaria desses carregamentos infinitos, numa época onde já existia o Sega Cd, Turbografix Cd e outros, que carregavam seus jogos com muito mais velocidade ! A Snk deu um tiro no próprio pé, lançando uma porcaria dessa aí, queimando o filme de uma marca que era quase divina, dada a fama e qualidade dos jogos do Neo Geo...
Neo geo tinha 1x playstation e saturn 2x, a diferença não era tão gritante, o proble era o tamanho dos jogos que eram grandes e cheios de detalhes de mais para o cd, somente acima dos 128 bits foi possivel realizar conversões fieis ao arkade e com loadings rapidos, até no ps2 esse jogo ia peida pra rodar.
@@Caesantos21 neo geo tinha 7mb de ram e velocidade de leitura em 2x, play 2 tinha 32mb de ram + 4mb de video e leitor de cd em 24x, ps2 não iria peidar! assim como nenhum game 2d de arcade que portaram pra ele, ele sequer sentiu!

This game was mostly unimpressive on NeoGeo and Dreamcast.
It may be worth noting that the NTSC-U Dreamcast version of Last Blade 2 is censored, but the Japanese Dreamcast version is not.

4. More like the Neo Geo CD version has multiple languages you can change in the options menu, Dreamcast you are locked by the region of the GD.

The loading in the Neo Geo version is a bit long, but has nice loading screen artwork.👍😄
I own both versions. I prefer playing this on my Neo Geo CDZ. The Dreamcast version is great too though.

I've heard that there is Neo-Geo CD2, which almost eliminated long loadings in Last Blade 2 and ither SNK games.
CDZ had improved speed - but it was not a 2x Drive.
O NGCD tem alguns cortes de frames. No começo das lutas o FIGHT tem mais quadros no Dreamcast.

Dreamcast has better detail and more frames of animation in the backgrounds. Unless you’re a die hard fan of Neo Geo just stick with the DC.

Eis o jogo que queimou o canhão do meu neo geo cd, comprei pirata em 2000 durou até 2004 o canhão, jogando esse jogo. Neo geo cd comprado em 96
