The 5110 is possibly one of the most desirable specimens all through Miura history.
It was originally owned by Gianfranco Innocenti
from a prominent entrepreneurs' family in Milan.
My father bought an SV because as kids my brother and I had seen the famous intro clip to the Italian job and fell in love with the most beautiful car ever made! We persuaded him to buy one... wish we still had it😭

They're driving there Miuras SV. The car in the original movie intro was a Miura P400, the first generation of Lamborghini Miura, which had a serious fore lift issue due to a wrong weight balance which made the car almost fly in road changes of gradient, and caused a poor grip of fore wheels in curves cause the car was too light from cabin foreward, That's why the P400 could be driven so fast only after getting gas deposit completely full, and being aware of correcting dangerous underturning in curves. With the Miura SV they corrected the problem. Anyway, what a wonderful, so nice classic machine!

Excellent video, some great driving and scenery, and what a superb sound those cars make. Where exactly is the location where in the film they tipped the red car into the ravine, and any idea why it is no longer in use? If i recall rightly from the film it was at a tunnel mouth.
The scenes were filmed along the border of Italy and Switzerland. I imagine the section of road no longer used was replaced with a better route.
Thank you. I can see on google what looks like an old road alignment close to the existing one, just to the north of Lac du Grand Saint-Bernard, very close to the border. Does that sound about right?
