Always nice to see a reaction vid, Largo! Being a TF2 player, I can answer the many questions you have and give you some tid-bits that you might not have known in this video: 2:49 - This is one of Pyro's signature attacks, known as the Airblast. With a click of the Right (or Left) mouse button, you send a compression blast that can deflect projectiles such as Rockets and Pipes, and push people around as seen in the second video. Also, the airblast can extinguish teammates that are on fire, which can heal the Pryo 20hp. 5:07 - Regarding the Brass Beast (the weapon Heavy's holding), it has an increased damage output at the cost of a slower spinup time. Being 50% slower to spinup, its quite a huge downside. This joke about the ridiculous long spinup time can be seen when using it in a x10 server (a server where every weapon's stats are multiplied by 10). 8:50 - In addition to not being able to cloak or disguise, he also cannot use his Sapper. This means that, theoretically, Spy would not be able to be as OP as he would in Overwatch if there was a Sombra that keeps him in check. 10:28 - In reality, any Engineer worth his bacon would know to stack your buildings near another one's. While its true that it requires a team effort to take down a sentry nest (term for set-ups like this) , it would really require a Medic (Ubercharges team mates), Soldier/Demoman (Explosive Damage), Pyro (Airblasts rockets level 3 sentries spit) and Heavy (Tanks damage). Or you could just Big Earner spy your way through them. 10:48 - Yes, he does. Its called the Rancho Relaxo. 15:40 - Ah, yes. The endangered Spycrab. This is a glitch that can be done by crouching, looking up into the sky and walking in any direction with your Disguise Kit out. 19:24 - Hybrid Demoknight (has a sword, shield and Grenade Launcher with him to adapt to any situation) 23:26 - Yep. We TF2 players can relate to that. It involves a 124hp Scout (keep in mind that Scouts have maximum) stealing a med kit or a Sandvich, mostly right in front of another player that has a lower health pool (i.e, a 50/300hp Heavy) than them. They are classified as "Scunts", and I think you can guess where the name came from. 26:54 - The same cannot be said for modern TF2, unfortunately. While there are moments where everyone treats Payload maps as a sort of Attack/Defend map, those moments are rare. This is because everyone, and I mean , will go for the Payload...
regarding 10:28 I heard that the opposite of keeping other Enginner buildings far away from each other is better because it makes it harder for the pushing team to destroy each sentry and they also cover flank routes
5:06 The heavy gun doesn't take very long- .87 seconds. However, the brass beast (shown weapon) has a 50% slower spinup time, which is a huge deal obviously. For that reason it is only viable in niche defensive situations. 10:52 Yes. In fact, that is the chair. I don't know the proper all comics order. Most of them are standalone. The main lore line is numbered 1-7, though. A common path is to read the "catch-up comic" first and then those 7, as they are the important ones. That's a fantastic experience. For the full order though, no clue.
For me, the full order of comics would be in the order they were posted. The standalone ones are usually tied in with the corresponding updates they were referring to. Eg, comics 1-7 that contains the main lore were all during the MvM updates, while the Meet the Director comic and the WAR! comic took place before MvM, during the Meet the Team videos and the WAR! update respectively.
17:07 probably the biggest part of this whole crowd control joke is that it’s happening to a Scout, specifically. In TF2 there’s an item called The Sandman, it’s a wooden baseball bat melee weapon that allows Scout to throw a baseball that can hit enemies - it was the first weapon in the game to introduce any kind of stun mechanic and back in the day when it released, it was AN ABSOLUTE MENACE. Initially, if Scout hit you with it, you would be stunned much like you are in Overwatch - you’re stuck in place, couldn’t fight back, couldn’t move, couldn’t do anything really - and he could hit you with one from across the map in what’s called a “moonshot”. It lasted a long time and was HEAVILY abused in the early days, to the point where Valve quickly had to nerf it after it was released, but it still wasn’t enough and it continued to see small tweaks - Valve apparently was really fixated on Scout having a stun melee but realized a little too late just how strong it was when they were giving it to the defecto fastest class with one of the highest DPS if you hit all your shots, and the Sandman guaranteed that because your enemies literally could not move. They eventually changed it to a very heavy slow down rather than a full stun, but it still didn’t change much, it still left you a sitting duck pretty much. A few years after the Sandman was released, an item called the Flying Guillotine was released - a butcher’s knife that Scout could throw from a pretty damn long range that did high burst damage - and that opened up a brand new fresh hell that Scout mains could abuse to their hearts content. You could stun an enemy with the Sandman ball, which did decent chip damage, then immediately follow it up with a the Flying Guillotine which did huge chunk of damage, and it would basically one shot certain classes - completely negating Scout’s core design of being a close range threat. One of the most toxic ways to play the game back in the day and it was finally killed in the Jungle Inferno update with big changes to the Sandman that it’s basically considered a worthless item at this point. So yeah, this whole sequence? Scout getting several years worth of payback for all the shit he did with the Sandman and Sandman/Guillotine combo.
Here's a playlist with TF2 comics in order: th-cam.com/play/PL9KzjFv7Ovq0rap1XRD7RUthzGIoH3_lt.html There's also non-story-heavy comics, but still must see
Even the non-story-heavy ones do have some servings of lore in them. For instance, the contracts update one establishes that Mann Co. actually sells to quite a few mercenary groups around the world...and that the guys in Team Fortress aren't taken very seriously.
17:00 A year late, but not far off. The irony in this bit is that Scout used to have one of the most annoying forms of stun mechanics in the game, and it was heavily abused. It was only recently changed around the time the Jungle Inferno and Blue Moon updates dropped, if I recall correctly.
With the Heavy vs Bastion part, it's a joke based on that specific mini gun, it's called the brass beast and it has the longest spin up time before you can shoot, it's used against Bastion as a nod to it being the best mini gun in MvM where your team fights against robot versions of the Mercs
@@ViJolt28469 example: you rocket jump as medic from an emey soldiers rocket in hightower and about to "market garden" an enemy with the ubersaw or any sick or cool play. then it never crits.

The bit where Heavy takes a really long time to rev up his gun is supposedly a joke pertaining to the Brass Beast (the specific minigun he wields in that clip), as I believe it takes much longer than other miniguns to rev up, though obviously not that long.
9:10 yeah, when someone tried to mug medic he kidnapped him and put his conciousness in a jack'o lantern. He was raised in stuttgart germany when the hippocratic oath had been downgraded to an optional hippocratic suggestion
7:01 in case you're wondering how exactly Mei got frozen by Spy, it's because the "knife" Spy used is called the Spycicle, it freezes the opponent that you backstab and doesn't show the kill in the kill log, so in-game you won't see the backstabs in the top-right corner if the opposing spy used the spycicle
some fun facts: the weapon pyro was using burn mai (?) is called backburner which deals critical damage when you burn someone from behind. thats why mai (?) screams more when she gets unfrozen and gets hit from behind. the frozen tf2 mercs in the animation (most of them) are a backstab animation for a spy's knife. here are the stats: - weapon will melt when getting burnt but saving you from fire damage ( can wait for it to replanish or pick up an ammo box to get it back ) -backstabbed victims turn to statues that alert the enemys.
The Spycicle is a "silent killer" knife, so the kill doesn't show up in the kill log, which means if you aren't near where the kill occured, you won't know it even happened
There is a shield in TF2, it's an upgrade you can get in Mann Vs Machine mode, or MVM. That mode has you playing defense against waves of robots designed after the human characters. The shield can kill if the bot is near death from teammates laying waste into them. Gives a nice vaporization animation.
It makes sense why heavy can stand toe to toe with roadhog as heavy can actually fist fight fucking grizzly’s and even has a weapon that is basically the paws of a grizzly that heavy ripped off and and trapped it to his hands
The part that heavy spins up his gun for too long it's because the minigun he's using (The brass beast) does more damage, makes you walk slower while spinning BUT it takes a like 3 times more time to spun up There can be more than 1 mercenary at the same class at the same team. All the taunts and items are in game and the manes of the characters after the video is the actual character name like, Travish is demoman actual name and engineer is dell And the spies joke is that friendly people can go spy and do the "spy crab" move Also when soldier tried to hit them with a shovel mid air is because the (market gardener) shovel does 3X damage
Yeah TF2 Medics have a funny thing called “Melee crits on demand” it’s like a curse towards anyone who tries to Melee fight a medic for some reason, Medic always have Melee Crits ready to use at any moment. Which is a gag that Spies Hates to Backstab Medic because if Spy got found out by Medic If you are not a very good Spy, you can instantly died by Medic’s Melee in a single hit 99.9% of the time.
5:10: Yes, Heavy's gun does take a bit to spin up. But that particular minigun, the Brass Beast (also known as 'Oksana'), is infamous for how slowly it spins up.
I just realized. Zarya is all leg, and heavy is all arms and torso. If zarya gave heavy a piggy-back ride, then he wouldn't have to worry about skipping leg day anymore.
If you like Symmetra, you may like Pyro, they both have close quarters attack (primary fire) and long range burst options (Pyro's secondary weapon flare gun and Symmetra's alternate fire) and support ability(Pyro's airblast, it can push enemies away and it can reflect projectiles like rockets dealing 1.5x damage)
What i like about these animations is that everyone gets some wins. It’s not one side stomping the other the *entire* video. And with some uses of memes like the spawn room shinaginss or the spy crabs… it’s just great Like the brass beast gag. That’s *such a specific* gag. The brass beast is a little sluggish. And on X10 servers (a common community server type) you may as well not even *bother* with it
at 5:26 actually tf2's soldier is a soldier in character only, he really is more of a combat engineer then a soldier cause he has a rocket launcher. Beside overwatch's soldier is closer to a grunt (frontline soldier) scout is the closest thing tf2 has to a grunt.
There is an interesting, somewhat heartwarming, somewhat heart-wrenching, fan theory that Heavy/Misha is Zarya's uncle, who died fighting the Early Omnics, having become more advanced than Gray Mann's Robots. There's a comic dub somewhere on TH-cam about it. Do I think it'd be cool? Yes. Is it realistic? Probably not.
A similar thing you might be interested in reacting to: JT Music did a series of rap battle videos between each TF2 class and their nearest equivalent Overwatch character (Sniper vs. Widowmaker, Scout vs. Tracer, et cetera).
When you get the chance you gotta watch Rise of the epic scout, meet the rabid heavy taming engineer, fight for sawmill, and the white spy (in that order) it's a great set of animations snd you can see how much better hits animation's progress in terms of quality
- Pyro's Flamethrower comes with an airblast on right-click, for reflecting non-bullet projectiles. - Yeah, someone like Torbjorn's gonna be in an uphill battle just by being on the offense team. - Brass Beast joke, yes. It's strong, but has a longer spin-up time than normal. - Scout went and pulled Jack's "We are justice" moment. - Hrm...I'd say Pyro - if only because of the two descriptions you gave, Pyro's is the only canon. - Tracer and Scout are similar, yes...in that they're hit-and-run speedsters with pistols. Beyond that, Tracer has Recall and Pulse Bomb, and Scout has a Scattergun and sometimes some kind of Bonk! drink. - Yes, there is a reclining taunt for Engineer (Rancho Relaxo, I think). - I have one theory that Reaper's guns "regenerate" in the same way his body does (and the guns he discards just sublimate in time). Ah, but what do you think? - Two brike jokes: Pharah's payback, and Widowmaker vs Sniper...still going back in the first map. - Yeahhhhh, Tanks won't tolerate any slight to their fellow Supporters. - What would the odds be of a full team of stun-inflicting heroes being THAT coordinated? Erm, although...is there any mode where you can form a team of 7 or more? - I know it's a simple "fire melts ice" joke, buuuuut if we went with canon again...Mei's Endothermic Blaster shoots the same coolant used in cryostasis chambers. And that froze a giant omnic so thouroughly, it crumbled. - Now see, Roadhog is definitely more like Heavy than Zarya is - big HP, wide-shooting guns (of shotgun and minigun varieties), and healing items. Although Roadhog still has other things at his disposal, like the junkball shot and chain hook.
When you mentioned about the Sniper and Widowmaker duel being in the first part, you didn't mention the fact that Spy in part 2 was launched into space where he hit Winston who was launched up there in part 1 by Saxton Hale
The very slow spinup on that gun heavy had was indeed a joke on how slow it is to pin up. Not all of his guns, only that one. It does get a good damage boost as a trade off though
Team fortress, The original, for Quakeworld . And Team Fortress classic. Had their CC's that the devs left out in TF2. Most of which came in the form of grenades, Like scout and medic got concussion grenades that had huge knock back, which could also be used in rocket jumping style to launch themselves. Pyro had flame grenades to create molten spots on the ground that did burning damage and slowed movement. Engi had emp grenades to sabotage nme engi machines. Soldier had a spinning nail grenade that spun shooting nails in all directions. great for area denial. And for damage the heavy and demo man had mirv grenades that would launch into more smaller grenades. Then there were other things, like i believe it was the medic, using the healing tool, could use it on enemies and infect them with slow dot damage that would spread to teammates and cause hallucinations. Like grenades going off, gunfire from random areas of the map. Teammates appearing as enemies, or enemies that arent there walking by. Caused chaos on servers where friendly fire was on. And it could only be cleansed by a teams medic, Or the healing locker in main spawn.

The shield can kill if the bot is near death from teammates laying waste into them. Gives a nice vaporization animation.
Nice reaction as always, I love how you pause and actually give comments rather than not saying anything.
It makes sense why heavy can stand toe to toe with roadhog as heavy can actually fist fight fucking grizzly’s and even has a weapon that is basically the paws of a grizzly that heavy ripped off and and trapped it to his hands
in tf2 lore, Australians are so overpowered, they can utterly annihalate anything with their BARE HANDS
And the reason why Sniper isn't that powerful is because he's not originally from Australia, he's from the sunken land of New Zealand
The part that heavy spins up his gun for too long it's because the minigun he's using
(The brass beast) does more damage, makes you walk slower while spinning BUT it takes a like 3 times more time to spun up
There can be more than 1 mercenary at the same class at the same team.
All the taunts and items are in game and the manes of the characters after the video is the actual character name like,
Travish is demoman actual name and engineer is dell
And the spies joke is that friendly people can go spy and do the "spy crab" move
Also when soldier tried to hit them with a shovel mid air is because the (market gardener) shovel does 3X damage
yooo, some of Winglet's content is fabulous, as always thank you for your reactions
Largo: There is no shield in TF2
Medic Fully charged using stock:
Yeah TF2 Medics have a funny thing called “Melee crits on demand” it’s like a curse towards anyone who tries to Melee fight a medic for some reason, Medic always have Melee Crits ready to use at any moment. Which is a gag that Spies Hates to Backstab Medic because if Spy got found out by Medic If you are not a very good Spy, you can instantly died by Medic’s Melee in a single hit 99.9% of the time.
Engineer does indeed have a taunt where he sits in a mechanical chair and drinks, it’s called the Rancho Relaxo.
10:42 there actually is a tf2 emote that does that. It's called rancho relaxo
Together they are the ultimate Russian specimen!
@@LargoReacts Russian Gurren Laggan
If you like Symmetra, you may like Pyro, they both have close quarters attack (primary fire) and long range burst options (Pyro's secondary weapon flare gun and Symmetra's alternate fire) and support ability(Pyro's airblast, it can push enemies away and it can reflect projectiles like rockets dealing 1.5x damage)
20:45 fun fact: Archimedes (the tf2 bird) has human blood
What i like about these animations is that everyone gets some wins. It’s not one side stomping the other the *entire* video. And with some uses of memes like the spawn room shinaginss or the spy crabs… it’s just great
Like the brass beast gag. That’s *such a specific* gag. The brass beast is a little sluggish. And on X10 servers (a common community server type) you may as well not even *bother* with it
Yes engineer has a taunt that has him sitting in a chair drinking beer casually, it’s really good
at 5:26 actually tf2's soldier is a soldier in character only, he really is more of a combat engineer then a soldier cause he has a rocket launcher. Beside overwatch's soldier is closer to a grunt (frontline soldier) scout is the closest thing tf2 has to a grunt.
Brass beast is the most powerful heavy primary damage wise, but has the slowest rew up time
There is an interesting, somewhat heartwarming, somewhat heart-wrenching, fan theory that Heavy/Misha is Zarya's uncle, who died fighting the Early Omnics, having become more advanced than Gray Mann's Robots. There's a comic dub somewhere on TH-cam about it. Do I think it'd be cool? Yes. Is it realistic? Probably not.
fun fact if anyone didn't say this: according to tf2s official comic, demoman is actually named tavish and engineer is actually named dell.
I thought demoman is Scottish
@@jairex2462 he is
Scout: Jeremy ???
Soldier: Jane Doe
Pyro: ??? ???
Demoman: Tavish Finnegan DeGroot
Heavy: Mikhail ???
Engineer: Dell Conagher
Medic: Ludwig Humboldt
Sniper: Mun-Dee
Spy: ??? ???
Finaly a youtuber that KNOWS saxton hale
A similar thing you might be interested in reacting to: JT Music did a series of rap battle videos between each TF2 class and their nearest equivalent Overwatch character (Sniper vs. Widowmaker, Scout vs. Tracer, et cetera).
''Get drunk and blow something up,, that's just a normal monday
I love when people more familiar with OW watch these.
Its neat to see what they have in common and also how they differ.
The gun heavy was using against the robot was Brass beast always takes a moment to spin up especially in custom 10x severs
19:36 That hair and necklace and sword were given for pre-order of Witcher 3.
If you like "Pyro Vs Mae" there is a rap battle between the 2 as well :3 it's hilarious and feels so accurate.

@@idiotenmitfeuerzeug921 yo'rue*
I’m a little late on this but yes engineers have emotes for the chair
Also the crowd control is normal for me cause I played world of Warcraft for so long xD
3:37 yes, one of the sniper's secondary is a pee jar called jarate
It has a 20 secs cooldown
The opponents covered in pee take more damage from any weapon, is one of the Most op weapons on tf2
It can also be used to remove afterburn from an ally
20:42 It drinks blood and guts pretty sure.
5:11
this moment reflects on the real game, heavy has a minigun called the brass beast and one of the stats is 60% slower spin up time
23:22 we feel your pain about the scouts stealing medkits that just spawned and then dying 1 second later
no shields in team fortress? *laughs in medic mann vs machine upgrade*
ALSO! If you want, you can react to JT Music’s Overwatch VS TF2 music videos! There’s nine of them, one for each TF2 class and they’re all matched up against their Overwatch counterpart! And also, they’re very good songs, might I add.
Heavies mini gun does take a while to spin up but that specific mini gun there a different weapons in the game takes a really long time to spin up
7:10 There's already a "Deathbattle: Scout VS Tracer" so we know how this matchup goes.
"Team Fortress Medic is a psycopath". Yes. Yes he is. All of them are psycopaths.
We NEED this crossover in game
Engineer does intact have a chair emote
8:48 as a spy main i have one word for you. Kunai
Well actually the Brass Best takes ages to spin up. If you go on a 10x server it just won't work.
the heavy joke is about the weapon actually, that weapon if i remember correctly deal dmg around him in aoe but it takes more time to start the spinning of the machinegun and shoot
Hello, not an expert but I got the comics here for you, all Dubbed by "Marian Paddock"

TF2 vs Overwatch rap battle by JT Music
I'm going to be 100% with you right now, all the team fortress 2 people are psychos. They're just their own unique brand of psychotic
They’ve never seen a hoard of Spy Crabs
3:45 It is very rare as the rifles in tf2 never miss
The official tf2 site has the comics in correct order with other extra details not shown anywhere is also there
I can make you know that spycrabs wasn't a distraction they just being friendly
16:33 They`re not Spys, they are SpyCrabs.
Medic can actually get a shield in Mann vs Machine. Witch is tf2 equivalent of a campaign.
Pyro is the scariest because of how minasing and how fast they can kill you with a verity of weapons
Heavy would definitely win against roadhog, because he is smarter and has a PHD ;)
FINALY someone gets the nano boost joke
BOOSTIO!
It's similar to when a scout steals a heavy's sandvich when it's tossed towards a medic
I just realized Sniper used an actual AWP to kill Mercy. So jealous. I missed out on my chance to get that.
Please react to the comics, I would love to see your reaction.
Everything in the animation is what tf2 characters can do
26:10 if medic used quickfix he wouldn't have moved...
19:11 wheres demon may?
man did you see the face of pyro? He is gonna axe the heck out of you and burn you while he gives you candycanes in his vision
2 : 25. Medic can have shield in Mann vs Machine
Actually, I wonder if you'd be interested in checking out Krunkidile's Team Service Announcement series? They're shorts that exaggerate relevant situations on whatever topic it's talking about, and they're pretty funny.
Do you know you can have up to three main characters? in overwatch one for each class.
So one tank one DPS one support
pyro is definitely scarier due to the fact he doesnt even know hes doing it 6:20
Could you please react to "[SFM] to defeat a master!" By hoovy tube? It's one of my favorite SFM's of all time
I think pyro would be scarier he has the most warcrime count and menacing stuff to you like lock you in a cabin and burn it and sees it as rainbows and lollipop the fact pryos goggles give shiczophrenic him or her its gender is unknown
