Have been using gopher hawk for 1 year in my gopher trapping biz. To dayt i have caught over 1100 gophers the8are a great traps tunnel location is the biggest key to catching them. I owen 40 of them thanks gopher hawk. The gopher guys .
I’ve had terrible luck with the gopher hawk. I don’t have a traditional lawn but more of a natural forest with garden beds added. I’ve tried the gopher hawk for months with no success. It’s really hard to id fresh mounds without seeing grass disturbance but it’s so easy to see the terrible tunneling damage. Can I use the victor trap in the tunnels or only by the mounds? I’ve spent most of my time fixing the damage this year. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
With the GopherHawk. You can buy One that just some comes with a GPHWK Trap. Or one with the *GPHWK Trap and Probe and Hole Digging Kit. Bought mines at Ace Hardware
I thought for sure you were going to get your fingers smashed when you were bending the trap wire back in shape..... OMG! To repair the wire you can 'unscrew' the top to disengage the trap.
We used to have moles but thanks to the roving cat(s I haven't seen one in a long time. That one reminds me of the old ones that you stomped into the grass with the spike filled rectangular steel piece OR the old mo-go poisoned p-nuts. Blessings and carry on!
Hahaha In the beginning of your video I heard Barrett shaking his head and recognized the sound of his ears flapping against the side of his head, big goofball! In regards to your gophers or moles; have you tried attaching a flexible pipe to your trucks exhaust? I've heard that is extremely effective at eradicating those little garden terrorists.
Our pest control guy (for bugs) uses Gopher Hawk for his customers. I got myself one and have caught over a dozen gophers with it. The key is finding an active tunnel they run in. That is the tricky part. I never had any luck with the Victor type. Funny, just the difference in preference, whatever works for you. I've been very happy with G H. Maybe a little luck helps also.
REALLY!!! Thanks for the comment!! I'm gonna have to give it another try this spring! I've caught a couple dozen with the Victors... I'd swear I was on top of the active holes as evidenced by my catches... Thanks!!

I've heard the same... haven't tried it
Quickest catch in 5 minutes. 😊
Totally have a supreme rodent hunter. Woof woof. One of the first things trained into them on a farm, ranchette or ranch.
Don't touch that little dangling thing!
👍👍👍👍
