Yes lads good to see you alex getting in front of the camera on ur own like the way you two explain things in your videos makes it so much easier to copy keep up the good work lads 👏💚🎣
Carl Alex new content brilliant to see your guide to a solid pva bag I've always used pva mesh due to it being easier to use but since your last post I've managed to smash this method and now confident in making my own rigs brilliant guys 😆😆😆😆
Hi @fishingtutorials Alex, I was wondering if there is a reason behind the long leader for this solid bag set up vs a shorter one? Great video, clear instructions and well paced as always.
Super helpful, never seen how to fit the pva tube, deffo need to get myself some of these, I've been doing it around the lead clip of my leader but it never quite looks right , thanks for the tips guys
Question?? I fished yesterday and used bags with bread crumbs and salmon micro feed, worked really well and got them grubbing around searching for the feed, that lake had a leader ban and fixed lead ban as is common these days on day ticket venues, I made the bags up one by one using a lead clip system, it worked but isn't ideal, what would you use to get around these bans/rules??
When making pva up inadvance in the past I've found it takes ages to melt due to the oil in pellets/groundbait. I've had runs with a stick on and wound in to find it's still complete and masking the hook 🤦♂️ but wish I had the confidence to do it to...
Can you please do a vid casting a 3.25 rod with different weight lead weights . Maybe 2-3 different rods so people can see different taper speed rods doing different optimum weight . Like myself people like me can only afford 1 set of good rods and watch a few videos to see which one they (me) would buy , you have reviewed some good rods i.e grey and so on . I hope to see one soon .
i get that you prefer a spliced loop for the rig and understand that less knots involved in a rig is better but Why not just an overhand loop though for ease of use and only very minimally weaker?
A couple of questions. 1) what is the benefit of the solid bag Rail rubber? I get it’s a bit seal the bag around but is that it? 2) is there a need for the leader? Could you pre tie these in the same way but just using a mainline to mainline loop to loop in the absence of a leader?
1) Yes it just helps seal the bag around it. 2) You could do a mainline loop to loop, the leader just helps keep out the way of the fish's fins when they are swimming around on the spot! If you use the mainline loop to loop, just be sure to trim the knots neatly, and check that if you snap up, the lead can slide up and over the loop. (to make it a safe rig!) Take care :) Carl
im new to fishing but why would you want a heavy braid leader thats stronger than your main line? wouldnt you want a weaker leader so if it snaps off, you not only get the lead system back but also the fish isnt left with a lead attached to its mouth?
Great video, was debating using this approach on a smaller scale for pleasure fishing, other than cutting down the amount of feed/ size of the bag any other advice?
To be honest for smaller amounts of feed and more regular casts on a coarse fishing lake, I’d probably fish a small method feeder. Solid bags are good when a longer cast is needed, and when fishing for larger carp where you want to use bigger hooks and therefore heavier leads. But for smaller fish and less feed, a method feeder is easier and less time consuming. Check out our method feeder video on our channel (the video to watch is the one where im on the bank fishing quiver tip!)
Hi guys, great vid, I'm copying this setup as a first timer with the pva bags. Can I ask what type of main line are you using? I noticed the braided hooklink is 25lb and the durakord is 45lb, so should the mainline by rated higher than this?
Unless I’m missing something , how do you pre tie these if the bag is stuck to the tale rubber ? I could understand if the inline insert was longer and protruded through the bag opening ?
What’s the best test curve rod to use for Pva bag fishing? I have a 3lb tc rod and will fish short to medium range 95% of the time. I think 3lb tc is enough but not sure as I’ve only recently started using solid bags. Thanks
hello i started fishing with boilies last week and already caught one. but one problem i have is that my rig keeps tangling up, do you guys have any tips for that? i use a lead clip system
You guys are literally the only anglers I’ve seen do lead first into the bag 🙂 Out of interest why? We all can only imagine what our presentation is like, so make sense to me, to have the leader and lead separated from the trace and bait, not folded over? If you get me?!
Lead first means that you can csst further as heavier on the front of the bag and also means that the bait will be nicely in the parcel of feed not ton the edge
Hello fellas looks like sombody is pretending to be you on Facebook, on their page Carl and Alex gift. Looks like it's just been put up might be worth reporting this 👍

It’s a bit like a method feeder where your bait is perfectly hovering above the patch of attraction
Thets goooo another amazing video by my favourite Channel 🤘💪💪🤣 thanks guys I will definitely be using this on the bank 👌
Absolutely! Solid video. I just came across his channel
Thank you, great video , this really helped to to understand how to make solid bag rigs and leaders

Get on the solid bags ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Bro I just bought some pva bags to go fishing and then this shows up thank you so much
Clearly explained .
Great tutorial! Keep up the good work!

Gemini solid bag tubing kit or avid pva stem mate 👍
Love the videos keep them up

Might be a good idea to make a few bags up at home and test them like Carl and Alex do in a fish tank or similar
Then you'll know how long they take to melt, you may be better buying quick melt bags 👍
Love the vids keep up the good work
If you use softer baits in the bag, put a small piece of pva foam on the hook. Sounds obvious but its easy to forget.
I've been filling the bags with glug recently and have seen an increase in catches. However, that could also be down to the improving weather.
Nice vid👍👍
Yay another video
Hi guys I love your videos 🙂
Great like always💙💙💙
Nice vid guys keep it up👍👌♥️♥️
I still prefer a pva net because you can prepare them beforehand and just hook them on
you can do the same with the bags shown here too man
Me gustan mucho tus videos des de mexico los veo👍

Thank you Alex-
Can you please make a video on braided line or nylon? I could really use your advice and or info
Nice one boys
When we will take a look to the withy pool rig?
Blood knots will slip on braid. Uni/grinner knot is the best.
can you do a guide on zig fishing ?
Working on that now. :)
A couple of questions.

Carl
How would I pre prepare this if the lead weight and tail rubber both go on your main line?
The leads and tail rubber go onto a leader meaning you just the line yo the leader 👍
Question - what tactic would you use if you targeted a deep weeded lake? Great content as always.
The same thing just lighter lead
Lead clip system mate but your best finding the clear areas in between the weed
I’m struggling so much with splicing the leader
Practice mate makes perfect 👍
I was sitting there watching this vid when about half way through my rod screams off to a new pb of 30 pounds not a bad way to spend a Saturday
awesome!! :)
First one from Bangladesh
whats the weather like ?
Love watching your videos guys always click so fast keep the keep the good work up❤️ tight lines wet nets🎣🐋
Defo going to use solid bags alot more. Great video to learn guys, keep it up 🎣🎣
Tight lines mate!
Cool video
Do you guys ever use stems to attach to the main line?
How often should you cast out using the bags?
Nice video
I have just got some new pva

Does this count as a permanently fixed rig? I assume it does right?
Hi guys, great vid, I'm copying this setup as a first timer with the pva bags. Can I ask what type of main line are you using? I noticed the braided hooklink is 25lb and the durakord is 45lb, so should the mainline by rated higher than this?
If you are using a monofilament mainline I'd personally go for it in 12lb or 15lb if you are targeting slightly larger carp.
Unless I’m missing something , how do you pre tie these if the bag is stuck to the tale rubber ? I could understand if the inline insert was longer and protruded through the bag opening ?
You have multiple leads with tale rubbers with rigs attached all on leaders so you just the to the leader end
Hope this helps
What’s the best test curve rod to use for Pva bag fishing? I have a 3lb tc rod and will fish short to medium range 95% of the time. I think 3lb tc is enough but not sure as I’ve only recently started using solid bags. Thanks
Yeah 3lb will be fine! The only time you’ll need heavier is for huge long casts on a massive lake :)
Hi love your vids do a colab with catfish and carp
Can you use the bag if your using a lead clip rig
💪🏼
hello i started fishing with boilies last week and already caught one. but one problem i have is that my rig keeps tangling up, do you guys have any tips for that? i use a lead clip system
When casting stop the line just before it hits the water this will kick your hook bait forward and stop the tangles. Tight lines mate
where did u get your leader material i can’t find it snywhere
You'll find it easy on Ebay or Amazon man
Can we use PVA bags with a lead clip sistem.
Yes, it just doesn’t cast so well and the setup doesn’t sit inside the bag so nice !
What test curves do you use for pva bags.
3lb :)
Thank you , great vids by the way .
You're welcome :) Cheers Paul! Glad you enjoy them!
I'm watching you on my tv
Nice! :)
Hi. How to obtain red larva ?
Are you using a waiter?
Could somebody tell me how to tide my main line with that loop? I’m just starting fishing with solid bags.
Hi mate check out our video ‘how to tie a figure of 8 loop knot’. :)
👍👍👍👍👍
Can actually use the pack I baugh now I've watched this it's been in my box for ages I just keep buying new mesh 😂
Haha nice one! :)
Loving the help guys most times I'm on the bank I'm watching ur tutorials 😂😂
can you not just hook the pva bag then putting the rig inside?
Every pva video I've seen was done by a British bloke. Is that yall got over the pond?😅
Hi
Can you just tie a knot In the leader
Not really mate as in the event of a snap off the carp will trail the lead around as it won't pass over the knot
Bags
🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

Thanks David, got it removed now!
Is there no way to do a solid bag on a lead clip without any of this splicing business ?
Inline leads are the best option if you want you can just buy ore tied leaders 😀👍
