Doing tank tests with esp mesh and tape both were leaving loads of residue at 12 degrees water temp. Made me real rethink as I've always used pva in my fishing for the past ten years. I wonder how many bites I've missed out due to this? Made me think about how many quick bites I've had casting singles to showing fish. I think Kevin Nash has gone on record saying he thinks PVA puts carp off. Would like to see more videos of tank tests of melt times in different water temps.
I'm still confused. I just seen a TH-cam short of someone showing PVA mesh and how its "dissolvable fabric" and how it basically turns to jelly upon impact with water. The part that has me confused is in your video you say its used to make little bait baggies basically but wouldn't it just disintegrate as soon as you cast it out and its underwater? That's the part I'm lost at.
Brilliant thanks for taking the time to show a newbie the way to go 👍🙏
Using the hook bait inside the PVA bag is a flipping great idea 💡

Arent we supposed to stop using barbed hooks?
Having watched the early Korda " under water carp series vids where Dan hooks Bag on every cast ,no evidence of carp being repelled in any way .
Wait what happened to use a bread ball. That's how I caught lots of carp as a kid lol.
U not explaining it enough why are you so far away from the camera just wasted £15 on a tube to have none left
