Amazing film Loyd. Be very interesting to see what it's like next year! Thanks for the shout out. The Arc wouldn't be the same without you guys either. x
Thanks Loyd, Liga and Steve for this amazing footage and the story the edit tells, 37 minute brought back the pain, tiredness, highs and lows but most importantly the joy of the Arc and crossing the finish line. My first attempt and fortunate enough to walk away with a gold buckle (28:13:21). Still can't quite believe it. Thanks to Linsey and Oli my crew. Going to watch it again now.
I knew there was gonna be comments already and i started viewing bang on it appearing on youtube , everyone waiting ( not patiently ) but well worth the wait and brilliant coverage loyd , what a different perspective , loved it and watched it with the same kinda smile Mark darbyshire ran that with , the whole race , unbelievable attitude and well done him , and that alone was worth the watch
Loyd, thank you for such an inspirational documentary. Gosh, my max is on road marathons. The capability of these competitors just blows me away! Congrats to all. Awesome. I second the comment someone made...if one wants to know what running is all about, view your video! Runners and the running community are beyond awesome!
What an absolutely amazing performance from everyone! That course looks and sounds brutal so a massive well done to everyone who finished those smiles say it all!
Excellent coverage Loyd, Liga & Steve. footage is astounding. A run to aspire too.I am sure I will watch this almost as often as I have the last . Thank you for your time and skills.
Wow what a brilliant video! Thank you Lloyd and co for this great insight. This video along with your other running videos have helped inspire me to take up running again and try something like this. I love running again and also love the south coast and would like to run down there. We have some nice runs up here in the north of England and looking forward to hitting the Lake District this summer! 👟 ⛰️☀️ Thanks again, take care. 🙂
Brilliant film Loyd!! Perfectly capturing the emotions and essence of The Arc as always. What an amazing adventure. Looking forward to being part of the Arc 50 next year. See you and Liga out on the trails!!
FABULOUS video Lyod! An amazing and completely different style of video from what you normal do (which are great), weirdly because you didn't run the Arc! Perfect inspirational video!
I know it was so frustrating for you missing The Arc after such a good run up to it but, it was to our benefit. I’ve been looking forward to your record of the event and you certainly haven’t disappointed. Beautifully filmed as always, great editing, interviews… by far the best record of the event, thank you 🙏…. Great to see you in Helston yesterday and I’ve no doubt you’ll be back on the Arc start line in 2025 👍
What an inspiring video 👏 makes me want to put on my running shoes and get back out on the trails ! I can only view in awe at the runners 😊 thanks for sharing 👏
Fantastic video Lloyd. A bit like WRC, it’s a sport that is doesn’t always translate well onto the screen yet you manage to make them incredibly interesting as well as showing the atmosphere of the events
What a cracking film. Definitely worth waiting for, well done Loyd. This was my first attempt at the Arc, what an experience had an amazing time and made it to the finish sub 30 hours. Nice to see footage of myself. If you haven't done this race, you need to sign up. Keep up the good work Loyd 👍
Thank you so much for a wonderful video. So many talented runners. Good to see James from Centurion Running. I love his kit videos. Did he finish? Thanks again.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! The Arc 25 is an ok route but it does have several miles of tarmac at the start. Obviously you get to run through the beautiful Hayle Towans and up on the stunning North Cliff. I’d have to say the 50 is a much better and more challenging route 👍
I’m glad you enjoyed the video Jane. As you can imagine when runners are running distances like 100 they are spread out on the route and there can be hours and hours between 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I would have loved to capture the top three women but when it’s just me filming I can’t be everywhere. It’s an incredibly hard race to capture and we were filming for over 40hrs without any sleep trying to capture as much content as possible for the video Jane.
Cheers for the reply. Totally understand and appreciate what you guys had to put into it... (It must have been a big challenge getting the content!) I guess even just a mention at the end of who got 2nd 3rd 4th in the ladies would have finished it off perfectly. But that said, certainly don't mean to or want to be-little what was put into the filming... Amazing coverage! Well done again.

An inspirational watch, and a great video, but I would have liked to see more footage of the women running - you showed the top 3 men finishing, but only the first woman.
I would have loved to capture more Cathy but we can only be in one place at a time. By the time runners were finishing it was just myself filming and as you can imagine over the distance of 100 miles the runners can be hours apart. Races like the Arc are extremely difficult to film and we were awake for over 40hrs filming and there’s only so much we can do 😁 Really glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching 🙏
