Safety is a very tough job. Can easily get overwhelmed quickly. And unfortunately is an uphill battle almost the whole time. It seems like everyone is biased against you from the get go. I’ve made all the mistakes and took time to learn from them only to make different mistakes lol. I don’t want to focus on the negatives of safety, you can make a difference. I just discovered your content and it’s really good information. Thanks a bunch.
Hi Todd, welcome to the channel! I agree, safety is hard but we are here doing what we do because we believer we can make a difference. Thanks for the positive comment! Cheers! --Kevin
Thank you sir for all the information. I want to change my career and I've been thinking about health and safety for almost 2 years, watching videos and searching. and I'm scared how to start start and where. I live in ontario, and i want your advise sir Thank you
Hi Mohamed! It's a fair question, I have answered similar ones in other videos, I can do another one if you think it would be beneficial. It is easier that typing several paragraphs, for me anyway. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers! --Kevin
How are you sir? I desire to follow the path of occupational health and safety, but I am worried about my English understanding and speaking skills. My understanding is very low. So my question is is English a very much requirement in this field?
Hi @DanielKalombe-wu8lo , welcome to the channel. I guess as far as language goes it is all dependent on where you practice. If you are going to be in an mainly English speaking country or area then it is important. Also, depending on where you want to take your training, if it is distance learning from an English speaking school, there is a challenge there as well. Sorry, it is the best answer I have. Thanks for the comment/question. Cheers! --Kevin
@@ProvokingSafety Thanks as well for the feedback. In fact, I live in Zambia and that's where I will study. I'm very worried because I have grown up speaking my mother tongue; so I'm not as familiar with English as i should be
@@DanielKakusa-wu8lo I can understand that. I have a few friends and colleagues who have studied in English, though it was not their native language. They persevered and managed to do it. So, there's hope. Best of luck!
@@ProvokingSafety Ok, thanks for the encouragement. But it will be challenging to communicate effectively with English speaking workers, employees and others stakeholders. This is where my big worry is 🤦. By the way, may you continue helping us through your TH-cam videos, they're really wonderful and helpful.

Hey there, I really cannot answer the question, I am sorry about that. You might try Googling "applying for a work visa in Canada. Sorry, I honestly do not know.
I featured this subject on an earlier livestream but was prompted to actually do a video on the subject. So, are you ready to get into safety?
