The drummer on " Apostrophe " is Jim Gordon. He was insanely talented and played with everyone. Between drugs and his mental health problems his life goes completely off the rails! He died in prison in 2023 doing a life sentence for murdering his mother!!
I prefer side 1 too, I mean who doesn't ;). Having said that, I happen to think the album runs pretty smoothly all the way through. Never been in my top 5 of his though. I enjoy all the tracks on side 2 while Apostrophe lost its novelty factor a little but it still shreds every once in a while. 🙂
@ as of today: One Size, Overnite, Phaze 3, Sleep Dirt, & side 2 of Studio Tan in no order. That's studio; for live I would take the best stuff from Roxy, NY, and the '88 tour.
@@ekaterinaavetisova4778 Interesting! I got into Overnite early on. The others - not at all except I was looking at Phase 3 for some time to grab. I'll have to add these to the lineup as well! So much goodness to choose from!
@ I can definitely see you guys react to Camarillo, Slime, Fifty-Fifty, Zomby Woof, and Montana! Phaze 3 is the hardest of the bunch to digest for sure, but that should not stop you! You guys did orchestral so you should be good to go! There are some weird talking bits that precede each track from the Lumpy Gravy sessions and new ones added on later, but I love it. There is a no dialogue edit on TH-cam just for you which I did not make ;). I listen to that one bc the talking can get pretty annoying after a while. Some call it abstract noise, but I call it synclavier goodness! Think of it as a precise flawless job done by an orchestra Frank actually approved - aamof the Ensemble Modern is featured on Beat The Reaper. Wow, that was a lot, but I'm a fast typer ;))
Classic album
Hi :)
I have been sayin and will say it again: OSFA time!!!!!!! Wooooooo
It's coming 😊 Probably the week of the 27th...
Jack Bruce is the ace bass player, ex of Cream with Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton.
apparently they did not get along after that
with Frank that is; the Cream breakup is well documented
Yeah, I should have known this detail, but I never got into Cream. Maybe I should?

Eager to put this one in the car so I get a couple more listens in on it. Will give me a better picture than a first-time listen for sure.
Ohh... what's the Top 5? 👀

What the hell is wrong with your sound? It sounds like you’re listening to that under water
it's fine on their end, but their mic picks up some echo that should not be there; they are getting a new system - I don't know when hopefully soon
Great question! I haven't been able to figure it out yet, but we're going to keep the output flowing and consistent :)
