She’s been acquiring more chickens each day - this woman is on a MISSION #colletedaviselectricc10farmsracing
U are a lucky man. U messed up letting a girl that pretty drive that truck down here in the south hahaha
Not gonna lie I definitely clicked off the thin mint video to watch this video, been waiting for this since she posted her current collection. 😂
😂😂😂
chickens are BASED!
😂
I can’t wait to see Adam riding center bench.
Lmao. That almost made me shit out my drink.
@@chrisbennett9034if you’re shitting out your drinks you should go see a doctor.
@@Dirkadew lol s meant spitting
Hahahahahahahahahahaha
I like how this went from truck stuff to how many chickens can we get before Adam notices.
Woah. Some movie type intro.
🫶🧡🧡
@@ColleteDaviswhat brand style types sizes of panties do you wear what brand style of leggings do you wear. She should do a video of her just in a bra and panties.
Perfect for hauling the Corvette to local events! Love it.
Adam should have never ever let u buy that truck. Every cornbread fed hard working man in the country just fell in love hahaha. I love it.
As if Adam would’ve stopped her 😂
🤫
Bigotry 😂
"Country" looks good on her
You ain't wrong lol
Collete don't worry Adam has the bug too, do you remember when he bought the compound and found out it had a tractor...he was so stoked like a little boy at Christmas. Every time he gets on it he is grinning from ear to ear. Now you need some miniature fainting goats🤔❤
Killed it with the editing and videography on this one! Looks like a fun build, all the analogue gauges and old satisfying switches and toggles and stuff are such a vibe too
I had a 1972 Chevy Long bed in high school. Loved that truck. Wish I could afford another one.
The stance, the wheels, the color, everything about it is perfect.
Don’t forget the 454 BIG block
Ever since I saw Stacy/Stacey David's "Copperhead" C10 build on the "TRUCKS!" TV show on Powerblock TV back in the day, I've wanted one of these. They look so sick when done right! Excited to see how this beast turns out.
I’m trying to pick up a 86 c10 right now. My favorite year of the c10s
I have always dreamt of having a c10 build, and I know I will one day. I will continue to live through yours 😍 The chickens are absolutely adorable, I vote yes on more!!
The cinematic intro was on point!
My dad had an orange 72’ when I was growing up. Colette +this truck is a potent combo. 🔥🔥
Collet you need a compound Turkey as well. They get along with the chickens and can learn to wander in safe areas. Ours likes to hang out a play with the dogs as well.
Get the screen gaurd for the cowl vent then clean out the gunk and leaves from the inside kick pannel vents. Then clean out the inner doors. Then poke a wire in the rocker pannels to clean out the drain holes.
I love this, ive daily driven my 68 chevy c10 longbed for 6 years now with no complaints, ive never clicked on a video so fast i look forward to the build keep it up, also door seals from a 2006 honda civic coupe will fit perfectly for a c10
I’m so ready for this build. As a C10 owner myself, I’m gonna love every second of this. Congrats Collete
I'm a c10 owner as well don't you think she should do a short bed conversion I don't like the looks of long beds
@@adamthomas4638 personally no. I don’t mind long beds. Sure short beds are now sought after but I don’t mind what truck she has really. If she does a short bed conversion, I’m not upset with the decision. But also it’s her truck. She can do whatever she wants to it
@adamthomas4638 to each their own. I've debated on converting my '68 C10 to a shortbed, but I've decided to leave it a longbed. If I want a shortbed I'll buy one. Oh, wait. I already bought a shortbed. 😅
I have a 71 medium blue that’s about to get a carbd 6th gen 454 and 6l80e transplant. This gives me the drive to get mine restored!
To me the Big Block Chevy with a lumpy cam is the best sounding V8 ever
Yes! Chickens and cars ^-^ couldn't get any better if you ask me ^-^
The genuine excitement over an old American truck is the vibe I needed right now!
C10s have the same suspension setup that NASCAR racers have used from 1960 to the most recent generation. This is why they would remark about "truck arms" when speaking of the lower rear suspension components. Legend has it that the racers wanted the longer arms but the designs of the cars had already been finalized so they put them under the trucks which would let them qualify as a "stock suspension component".
Congrats, Collete! Welcome to the dark side! I have two C10s. One is a '76 2wd shortbed, and a '68 2wd longbed that I've had for over 20 years. To me, the 2nd gen C10s were the best era, especially the 67-68 because I like the look of the V-shaped grill and the sloped hood. Looking forward to the build!
i had one of those back in the day, it was a column shift three speed and had a 350 faded green with a camper shell. I still miss that old girl she threw a rod threw the block and couldn't justify cost of a new motor. I saw on power-nation a kit to update suspension and brakes to make it handle better on roads. a hard cover on back would help mileage. Nick name truck "the chicken coupe" and it will be/is awesome seeing it on your Chanel. I can't wait to see more with it.
Hell yeah old trucks are awesome
chickens are great, throw your left over fruit/veggie scraps and old bread etc in their pen you'll be rewarded with delicious eggs. Also make sure to get crushed oyster shells for healthy, strong egg shells and very small rocks (grit) for them to eat and keep in their gizzard for digestion! plenty of space and water and they'll be very happy
The C10 definitely needs to be candy blue!
Collete is becoming the next Lacy Blair between the powder coating , chickens and a C10 pick up truck shes gone country next thing you know she'll have some cowboy boots !
I could never be her ! LOVE HER 🫶🧡
@@ColleteDavis shes cool I like her cause shes into trucks and shes got that southern twang in her like you do ! LoL anyways awesome C10 and chicks !
So awesome Collete! The only thing I think I would argue no matter how badass C10s are would be the IMO equal popularity of the F100 Fords.
Love the truck and the chicken fam. Ain't no thing but a chicken thing.
I'd love to have my own fully off-grid homestead one day, with ducks, food garden etc. Cost of living is too damn high.
Build it like Adam is building thin mint. Restomod with an LS. Love it
No way. The big block has to stay, and in carbureted form.
Now you are coming around to some good car's and trucks
This makes me happy I have a 64 c10 I have been wanting to build
You're gonna absolutely love the truck world !! You need to look up OBI and try to get your truck to the show if possible !!
Orange Beach Invasion
Gulf Shores Alabama
Hope to see that beauty out there!
And while you're there , come see the '67 k30 , built by BackYard Fab !!
Good luck , and you will have a blast with this build 💪
The little things that you can fix or replace that make a huge difference on these trucks are endless. Door weather stripping, and Borgeson quick ratio steering box were huge changes for my 78. Talk to Jesse at Level 7 Motorsports if you want to make one into an absolute monster. He also has a whole brake, clutch, and manual braking solutions that could do a tone without switching to hydrologic.
We have had chickens 5 years. Adam will soon understand "Chicken math" it never adds up, haha. You will need a decent size coop but only a couple nesting boxes because they will probably only use 1. Very easy to take care of. We use Horse stall PDZ sand from Tractor supply inside our coop, you sift it like cat litter.
That intro edit was amazing more TH-camrs need to put that much effort into videos
Just came from the insta post but I usually watch LZ specifically. Great production value!
I absolutely love Collete 2.0!!!!!!!! I bought a 71 Chevy P\U Work Truck when I lived in Myrtle Beach years ago but it had a small block in it and had no power so I sold it to a friend. I later got a 78 Ford 4X4 P/U with a 428 cobra jet and 4 sp from a guy over in the forest city area of Orl when I lived in WP. Get the HAT, you will look so fine in it driving the P/U. I hope the rotary stuff has gone to old muscle car/truck mania. It's so much more fun. Luv ya!
I’ve got an 87 numbers matching stepside. Congratulations
That truck is actually mint! 👌🏻 can’t wait to see more on that.
My mom had a 71 C10 when I was a kid. I even modeled my pine wood derby car after it for Boy Scouts
Congrats Collete! thats such a gorgeous car and suits you down to the ground. Excited to see what you have in store for it and we need a name thanks!
Love C10's, growing up my dad was always building a handful of them. Kinda surprised you went with a long bed!
Don't change anything else on the truck except for the hydraulic clutch and maybe refresh the 454 someday. Dude you look so awesome in that thing and your chicken math seems to add up too. You're going to crush 2024 !!!
I have many cars in my driveway from E30s, 240s, 300zx, vettes, IS300s but out of all of them, my fav vehicle to drive and work on is my Lowered C1500. So simple and easy to work on, find parts and its comfortable! It also rips bigger burnouts than most of my cars lmao.
Looking forward to this build. Growing up, my father had a ‘71 Longhorn. I learned to drive on that truck. Unfortunately he sold it probably 20 years ago and I haven’t been able to locate it. On the hunt for a good donor for my son and I to build.
Collete, listen you you literally just bout my absolute dream, I've wanted one of these for so long now, love it keep up the great work
Wow this is amazing. Atleast for me. Old chevys got me interested in automotive stuff uncle has 1940 pickup and 53 suberban but c10 is the perfect platform for you. Youll love it. I had a 88 k5 blazer 450 hp. Didnt want more. Being only 20 the gas was getting too expensive.
11:26 when adam looks into the camera, face when she first tells at the house, that THEY are getting chickens😂
I love that you get different stuff and not just JDM stuff like Adam. I also really enjoy your builds. I can appreciate JDM, but I am an American muscle car guy at heart. I hope you do some really cool stuff to it, like a nice big disc break conversion, and they are so many companies out there that make handling kits for that thing, so that it’s not just “lowered”, but lowered so it actually handles, with proper a arms, proper shocks, springs, and sway bars. You can still keep the rest old school, and have the same look, but the thing will just drive better, be safer, and more reliable. But either way, BRING THE BUILD!!! I’m ready.
We neeeed you to bag that C10!
So stoked to see this one!
That thing is perfect! Don’t you dare do a short bed conversion!
Sweet set of deep dish rims is all she needs
Collette, you know Adams got them chickens! 🤣. Peace
Not a truck person myself , but the Chevy C10 is iconic.
Its a keeper.
Looking forward to more of this love my 73 square body k20
Hell Yeah Brotha!
Super stoked for this
I drive past the compound on my way to work. I can't wait to see that around town. Talk to Scott at horse power ranch, he might have some tricks for getting the door and tailgate unlocked.
I inherited my dad's 67 C10. LS swapped it, currently doing the suspension. QA1 is the best when it comes to these.
Hell yea! That’s awesome
Take note Adam. Collet would like a big Chicken Family. Hint hint. 😂👍🐥 Would say start with the Body on the C10 and a low profile Super charge would be nice.
i love them when they are laying frame
Finally some nice old school American stuff
I love that your doing a C10 build. In a weird but absolutely amazing way. A C10 kind of suits you well. This is gonna be a sweet truck after you put your Collete vibe on it. I can't wait to see what you have planned for it.
Ha! Adam LZ's face when she said she's getting chickens was exactly what my face looked like when my wife said she was getting some. Good stuff!
The C10 really suits you Collette! Definitely gives Daisy Duke vibes. ❤
Could you imagine lil Colette jumping up to the hood and sliding across it like the Duke boys?
@@fordinpossession unfortunately, little Collette would need a stepstool to get up top first. ❤️
Congrats Collete! I have a 71 c10 too. Can’t wait to see what you do with the truck.
Trucks and chickens, I’m here for it lol been waiting on this video with all the teaser shorts and IG posts. Can’t wait to see you dig into this and put your flair on it.
Instead of being the neon queen Collette gonna become the camo farm queen
Not a chicken person , however seen the Silkies and was wondering if you had seen an adult Sultan chicken by far the most majestic looking chicken breed
I love that model year Chevy truck's
Throw on a Holley Sniper throttle body EFI system. Then do the full QA-1 front suspension. It will completely transform the way it drives without taking away any usability.
Derick from vgg would be your go to guy for c10 stuff and cooper knows alot about chiclens, would be cool to see a colab with him and chicken things
I follow both those first two c10’s you showed 😅. Building a 72 international time attack truck for a while now. Also currently at 6 chickens 😂
Great choice!
C10 let’s go Collete!! 😁👌
Love that intro! Can't wait for this content!
I grew up in the summers on the farm with my grandfather driving a c10 just like that. It’s how I learned to drive. Edit: it’s a refreshing departure for you! 😊
The seat and steering wheel look so massive with tiny little Collette in the cab! As a 6'6" farm boy that grew up in a 69' c10, the scale is hilarious
What ever you do don't turn it in to a shortbed 😉 but you surely should put a 672 with a sniper kit in there 😊
So sick 😊.... Watching from india 🇮🇳🤠🤠🤩🤩🤘🏻🙌🏻
I’m with this!!!!
Been waiting for this video....that truck is sweeeeeet.
IM ALL FOR IT!
Finally!!! Been waiting for you to show this gem off. Ever since you posted it on ig been waiting for you to do a video on it.
THE LOVE C10. BUT YOU GOT DINNER FOR A LITTLE WHILE TOO LOL
LMC truck is your friend. Make sure you order the catalog, lots of great information in it.
^This, make it your friend. It's like the holy grail, a lot of older car fans wish was available for every car.
also restoration world plus many more
those old school billets are the bomb.... glad you wanna keep 'em.
nice c10 i got a 75 c10 of my own an yes they definitely are very versatile trucks great choice
Lets go!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤
Great to see you taking on a truck build and nothing better than a 67-72 C10!
Clean truck holy hell what a purchase
Finally, didn't think you were ever going to stop hinting at this on Instagram...
This build is gonna be so dope
i’ve been waiting so long for this post
Black steelies or nascar rims on that would look sick
Brings back memories of my Dad's 1972 C10
