Oh i know... it happened to me as well... I bought this same charger stand as brand new and got home, open the box, plugged the device in and it started blinding the yellow color.. I wasn't sure what was going on.. Then I contacted the samsung customer service I explained them my situation. The nice lady asked me to make sure that I'm plugging the charger in to the outlet directly... because at that time I had a night light on the wall and i was plugging the charger through the night light.... So my advise is "to make sure u r not running ur charger through other stuff except directly to the outlet....

Is better to just spend a little extra on the 15 watt stand charger with fan cooling. I tested it against a 15 watt brick charger and the wireless charger charged faster than the brick. Is also not as bulky as the one here. And 7.5 watts is not even fast charging tho they call it that. This charger is only good for overnight charging.

It's also good for people who want to make their battery last as long as possible. The slower you charge the better. I get an easy full days usage out of my phone. Then i let it slow up.
