It just shows what having lockers will do for a 4WD. Put front and rear lockers on either of the others and the will do the same. The Raptor is not ahead of the others you are just already paying for the lockers in the drive away price.
@@brendan636 put any other 4wd down a dirt road at 150+ and listen closely. You’ll be able to hear the value of the raptor cause it’ll be quiet as a mouse with no bumps felt
@@brendan636 the suspension is 7k per corner of the car. Enjoy trying to do that to a normal Ute mate and then let alone strengthen the chassis and rebuild the whole suspension geometry with a watts link setup ur lookin at around 25k+
I sold my 2020 200 series and bought a 2018 Raptor to drive around in for 7 months. The next Gen is leaps ahead and the 2018 I really liked so it’s a worthy step up 😊
That Raptor though looks like it is definitely earning its keep... The Navara i could not see if it was the same line or was it momentum...but great drive..
I personally have a Ute that I admit is a bit overkill, being A ram power wagon that I chucked a Cummins I6 into with a six speed standard I also chucked in, as well as a bull bar, locomotive horns, road train styled exhaust, and a big snorkel, but it gets over and through just about anything. I bloody love diesels, mate.
@@monopolarmaster4262 yes, I'll accept it. But a Raptor is also significantly more expensive than a Hilux. A fair comparison would be a Ford Ranger. A Hilux is still much more reliable, which is important in a workhorse. There's a reason you see Hilux en masse in Africa and the middle east. They're not going to buy Rangers.
I have both the old 2.0 Biturbo and the new 3.0 V6 Ranger Raptor, and I have to say the new Ranger Raptor is one of the best pickup i’ve owned, Ford did a great job not only with this 400hp 3.0 V6 engine, but with the Fox Next-Gen suspension also!
A good example of how lockers can make off-roading much easier and safer.
Shows how much the raptor really is ahead of the crowd in terms of offroad capability, perfect showcase daz
same with price and engine, both are v4 vs a v6

I've got the old raptor but I think I need the new one. Great video mate

Give me your old Rr. 😀😀😀😁😁😁
I had a chance to drive the Raptor last week. Really impressive machine
A beautiful and smooth trip for the Raptor
Nice one. Should do more videos.
that raptor is just walking on sand.... no skiing through the sand. so smooooooooth
Just like knives cutting through Butter 👍👍👍
That Raptor though looks like it is definitely earning its keep... The Navara i could not see if it was the same line or was it momentum...but great drive..
It looks more of a momentum than 4x4 capability
The D-max driver drives for first time? The vehicle had the best traction of all, until the driver nailed the chassis in the sand! 😅😅
Nice test 👌
That’s the driver not the car.
Yeah wasnt too sure on the D-Max line coming in
Its a ☕️ in the driver seat so
The raptor is superior off road as it should be, the Dmax was slower than the navara so driver contributed
Es otro nivel esa ford
That raptor is at ease.
Luar biasa
Last smooth finish
First on Race day... go Raptor !!!
Raptor eats it up!
I get mine in March...
You’ll love it. Best car
newest Ford with double price , compare with old model old engine.

The Ford 👌
Mate. What the tyre size is?
the raptor does it with ease lol

Hi nice vid, what is the dmax wheel set and suspension set up? Thanks
Kindly include the navara as well.. Thank you so
I know it’s a Dobinson remote resi 3” front 2” rear. I’m not sure on the wheels and tyres sorry mate.
@@dazman6249 much appreciated, drive safe!
Raptor wins!
Until it breaks down. If it's a vehicle that's getting used hard, I'd only buy Japanese.

Did the raptor have its front diff lock engaged, aren’t they standard kit on these??
yes mate, had front and rear engaged. both standard fittment.
D-Max and Navara use driver skills but Raptor is car skill.
The raptor is superior as it should be given the price.
The other 2 is driving related.
navara all day, every day
dmax , navara... Owned!
D-max so cute :)
We all know d max has a traction control system of a kids trolly
Traction control is disengaged with the locker on....
That was just a shit drive

Front locked. Raptor
Raptor all the way

100% agree
I have both too, as an off road toy, gen 2 is the best, although a bit firmer ride ant too thirsty as a daily proposition.
Por lejos es mejor las FORD 💪🇦🇷
siempre y x siempre, Ford es el rey dd pickups 💪🏻

The driver makes the difference
Raptor is king here....
Raptor 3 dif lock
What tires size have the dmax?
was 285 70 19" now running 295 70 17"
no offense but the problem in the mazda was the driver
😆😆😆
There is no Mazda in the video 🤣🤣🤣
can i know dmax what tire size using ?
285 70 17”
Stock raptor with after market wheels and tyres , no mistaking the Vespa 💩exhaust
Tell me you own a Dmax without telling me you own a Dmax :)
Still raptor won...goes with it's name
winner is raptor
D max win to
Navara dualmass flywheel heep of 💩woopsy
Dmax a joke

why waste money on dmax
If you realize dmax was sitting on its chassis not enough high ground that was fault of the driver
