Always keep a discerning eye when it comes to Western media portrayals of black countries, especially Haiti, a country they have been hating and trying to break for over 2 centuries now. The Western gaze on black lives is never balanced. White media portrayed Africa in a similar way for decades too, so it should be no surprise. That's why it's so important for black people to take control of their own narrative.

Big respect Tigress. You are a brave woman. Haiti is a beautiful country with many wonderful people. It is just in a bad place right now. Stay safe. Try to stick mostly in the countryside. Show the world the beauty of Haiti and the resilience of it's people. Sending love from St.Lucia. 🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹

Be careful while you're there. Do not stay out late at night, unless you're with a group of people.

African Tigress you are really brave. I once visited Haiti in the 80's and everything seems alright until suddenly there was a riot and I had to go back to Jamaica before my time.
As long as you are with good people you will be fine. I am awaiting some good contents from the island that is unstable for some time now.
Praying for the people of Haiti.
Stay safe and enjoy❤ The Haitian people deserves better.
