Thank you, my average BP is187/92. I'm 76 living with a tumor on left adrenal gland over left kidney. body has had a lot of trauma, several car accidents
I was already going through serious stress. But now I'm having difficulty getting blood sugar to normal levels, no matter how hard i work to eat very, very low sugar and carbs. Is there an easy way to know if mine is functional?
I was hit by a car while doing acat scan they found a lesion on my left aderinal gland and on my liver waiting for results from scan I just had I have a lot of symptoms from a functioning mass I hope it's that and not the bad one
I have adrenal myelolipoma, it’s not active, had complete work up hormone levels etc, it’s working perfectly. But surgeon wants to remove adrenal gland AND myelolipoma. Why would the have to take adrenal gland if it’s functioning perfectly normal????? Help…. No fam hystory of adrenal issues diseases cancer or disorders. It’s 7cm and uncomfortable
My 1.3 cm scan grew to 2.6 cm in 1 year. My P.A. says that the state has changed its policy for scanning these growths. I have suffered extreme depression and anxiety throughout my life. Including a shooting suicide attempt at age 43. Early onset menopause at 43, and at age 57, chronic fatigue and diapheresis. What kind of testing can I reasonably request?
Doctors told me I have a smallbenign aadrenaladenoma and not to worry. I guess I have to wait for the growth to turn cancerous. This is modern medicine doctors don't tell you you have something until is too late thenthey love to put u on chemo
I'm 35 and they just found a 1.8 nodule on my right adrenal gland. Waiting for the MRI results now. Then, a second opinion. I'm very nervous as I am young and it's not as common
I was a graduate student at UCLA. Last year, during a routine non-contrast CT scan, a small adrenal nodule with a regular border was detected. At that time, I did not pay much attention to it. However, it has now been a year and a half since that CT scan, and I became more concerned this year, so I underwent comprehensive blood and urine tests, including ACTH, ALD, AngII + PRA, total cortisol, 24-hour urinary free cortisol, 24-hour urinary catecholamines, and adrenal/adrenocortical hormones. All the results came back normal. A doctor in China suggested I undergo a contrast-enhanced CT scan for further evaluation. Do you think this is necessary? Thank you for your advice.
The doctor said that my situation is likely to be fine, but contrast CT scan is a gold standard for adrenal nodule, so they recommend a contrast CT to follow up
@@Mr._Y2666 NAD, but yeah, it sounds like all the other stuff is just to tell that, whether or not it's cancerous, if it's causing any abnormalities. Now you should check to see if it's cancerous, but if it isn't, then it could still be problematic had your other tests shown issues. You already know it's not causing other issues, so if it isn't cancerous, you're in the clear.
Thanks so much! It is a very small one (less than 1 cm). So the doctor asks me to wait a little more to do another CT scan. I had all my medical history in China, and I am in U.S now waiting for my insurance to start in 2025.

Wow! I love how you explain very nicely.
Excellent explanation. Thanks so much.
What If my other gland isn’t picking up for the one that was removed even with post-op steroids? I’m exhausted

My daughter has the same symptoms and she had Cushings Disease
I have a nodule on my adrenal gland found accidentally during a CT scan. My doctor referred me to a gastroenterologist🤦🏻♀️
jez. I think this is belongs endocrine or urology.

How did it go?
How did it go? I have the same problem right now. Just had a PET Scan with GA-68 dotatate. I will get the answers tomorrow. Scared to death
It’s not an incidentaloma if you’re looking at one’s kidneys, as in my case many years ago.

Maybe because it's 7cm and uncomfortable. Jokes aside, ask them for their reasoning.
I just recieved my scan results and they found an Adenoma on my right kidney. I've lost so much weight, and my appetite has gone.
