Hey Ryu, currently doing my first play through of final fantasy vi. I have loved all of the other games, especially 7 but I’ve never been able to get into 6. You inspired me to pick it back up again with your randomized and I’m already to the World of Ruin, and wow, this is a masterpiece. Almost at 100! And congrats on the wedding.
Speaking of things mutilated by SMM2, that's also true of the making of music levels. In addition to many other things that I had run into while making them, I only just recently realized that there's a straight-up audio flaw that seems to occur the most with lower bass notes - namely, a musical term called "clipping" (after I had my brother listen to the issue, he informed me that that was what it's called). In essence, the sound of such lower notes weren't programmed to fade out properly this time around (they were in SMM1), causing a little "click" or "pop" sound to be audible at the end of the note. Listening on my TH-cam channel to any of the music levels I've made in both Mario Maker games, it's very easy to hear the difference (easier to hear if wearing headphones). In Mario Maker 1, every note ends very nicely and peacefully, while in SMM2, there are many grating "clicks". Unfortunate.

Ryu, for the dueling 100th episodes Do a super expert run on endless. However many levels you clear, you start a 100 man Expert run with that many lives. Build up your life counter on expert and then start a 100 man super expert run with the number of lives you finish at from the expert run.
I feel like i always watch youtubers in phases, i might enjoy one for a few months, then get tired of it and watch again half a year later. Same with the games i play.
in japanese, "ryu" only contains one vowel sound -- the U. the RY part is a consonant glide with no vowel sound in the middle. you can pronounce your own name however you want, but our friend the japanese level creator isn't RE-YOU; he's RYU.
#100 idea - combine SMM and SMM2. Start with SMM2, beat a level, switch to SMM, beat a level. Continue until you have finished super expert no skip run in SMM. Every level you beat with 3 1ups in one game is a skip you earn for the other game. Skips carry over to the next level as well, but only for the same game. You can't transfer skips from one game to another.
For episode 100, you should a normal run, but it's a nuzlock. Basically you start with Mario, if he dies, you switch to Luigi, and so on. If all characters die, you lose. (If you want to you can revive a person if you got at least one 1-up in a level and beat it.)
You should definitely wear your Mario costume for the 100th episode for both the SMM1 and 2 challenges. Then at some point animate yourself into a level you play/use your green screen to play a level in real IRL or something crazy like that.

For the 100 episodes I think you should do some specials. SSM1, make is super endless by carrying over your lives between runs until you run out. SSM2, Go for a new high score! Allow skipping and just go for a new personal record.

You know what would be cool for the 100th? Kind of like an introspective where you look at some of the best and worst levels from your runs on both SMM 1 & 2. You could top it off by trying to make a really good level by incorporating some of the best elements from the good levels. Then proceed to dump a massive, steaming, moist load of hot garbage on the community using the very worst elements from the bad levels. Don't know how you'd structure that, maybe as a video series in celebration of the both 100s I guess...

You could try to beat 6 levels in endless. And when you've done that you can switch over to SMM1 and start with the same amount of lives you ended level 6 on. I see a lot of suggestions in these videos about playing SMM1 first and then carry the lives over to SMM2. But what if you finish 100 Mario Challenge with 60 lives?. Then you have a problem for endless.

Pulled out my Switch to check it out. It's a bunch of vines and platforms used to write out "20S" for the thumbnail. No dev exit.

Idk it seemed insanely confusing compared to most kaizo levels.
Looked like a fun level indeed with a good challenge, just very confusing at the start, but you can see the effort that was put into it.
I would say it needee slightly better cues as to what to do, the level design aside from that was solid though
