But yes, you could let Veigar scale and turn it into a farm lane where Veigar just pushes constantly into you and you lose priority of the jg and river. Had Neace not been here and Warwick counter jngld at all, Noc would be absolutely fkd. Props to the Mundo for at least having a game plan in mind. Most players have no real plan.
Idk if people realize this, but if your mid laner scales well you should genuinely be happy they're trying to keep their cs up, even if that means taking your camps. If they're sitting at 5cs per minute with Katarina and they try to take your jungle you can flame the shit out of them though.

Been having a lot of success on Noc running Lethal Tempo and building Sunfire, Boots, Axiom, Steraks, Titanic, GA. Tempo+Sunfire passive actually puts out a ton of damage while making you much tankier than opponents will expect.
i dont play ranked much but when i do its usually sup and ive learned that its best to usually play a champ that has carry potential. so when my adc has 20 cs at 15 mins i can kind of take over and not rely on him to win lane. in ranked, the more you rely on your team the worse youre gonna do. if i picked a sup like braum or taric, i would win proll 20% of the time cuz youre entirely dependent on how good your team is
one thing i like about nocturne if enemy team has strong assassin - first cast of noc r also pops edge of night shield. Guy wont have vision limited but fuck that, sometimes taking that spellshield from powerful assasin can be gamewinning
I once played Fiora in a game in solo Q. I had an allied nocturne on my team. Someone had put a trinket in the dragon pit and I had TP. A fight broke out in river and I told my Nocturne to ult and spammed my TP. I then proceeded to appear out of nowhere from behind the enemy team and single-handedly won the game.
"I'm done." -Mundo, who died for the 4th time to a Ivern/Urgot gank. Me, support Veigar: "how come? :(" Jungle Shaco: "It's all good Mundo, the other two lanes are carrying, we win this." Mundo: "I don't care, I'm done. Go next." Me, who sees that even though top lane is 4/1 vs 0/4, Mundo is only 10cs behind: "We can win, promise. You don't even need gold, just get XP. It's cool, man." After a minute or two afk, he goes back to defending T2 tower. We take a hard fight, they come out 3 for 2 and try to do baron but they're all behind except Urgot who died. Mundo smartly stays at max Q range and just harasses them, pulling one off to shoo him away. He stalls JUST long enough that me and Shaco respawn and arrive to ace them and steal baron. Me: "Mundo, that was exactly what you needed to do, very wp!" Shaco: "Gj!" As we take nexus, Me: "Top dif" Shaco: Top dif" That's why I leave chat on. Wins are fun, but untilting people or having funny jokes with people actually makes the game worthwhile to me. I've never passed a Diamond promo series, but I can win through the power of friendship. XD

Just a few hours ago I pinged my Seraphine to get inside bush with me lv1 to camp and got messaged “stop micromanaging me” and the whole game was a massive shitshow and flamefest. Is there such a thing as “too new for coaching”? I’m like level 12 and I’ve barely done any PVP, would it be less beneficial to get coaching so early or better to learn the game and matchups a bit more so things make more sense within the context of a 90 minute session? Been working on Darius, Garen and Trundle and primarily trying to play Top so I’m not getting in the way of others before I really know what I’m doing on a macro level.
Yea. Lot of the things you can learn can be found on TH-cam first. Just look around and play at least 100 games of ranked. Then when you cap out, get a coach who can fix what mistakes u make. A coach isn't a teacher to help you learn the basics, a coach takes u above your current level and fixes ur weaknesses
Yes. First I'd learn what I can without a coach (and even using Neace's free content), and find out what I don't know or what I might wanna improve upon if possible. Also, have a goal in mind. Then consider coaching. Remember, Neace isn't the only coach either. There are others with similar or better service for cheaper. Don't just facecheck the first deal that comes your way (food for thought).
yep. if youre severely overweight and get a professional weightlifting coach for one of your first gym sessions ever, you wont be agile enough to do alot of the things he wants you to do, and you wont retain alot of the information and most of the time will be spent on just getting your form correctly. sure youll get something out of it. but its nearly a waste at that point. get 6 months of playing under your belt at the minimum is my opinon. good luck on improving
Would you ask for a coach when you can’t even dribble a basketball? No, you get outside and keep trying and practicing until you can. You put the time in and you put your own take on things, get help from others and you look like someone else.

One thing that confuses me about the champ pool? Do I one trick one champ to climb or it should be 2 champs minimum champion pool?? Massive thanks for the videos!! Grateful for these videos they've been helping me tremendously to get over my ranked anxiety and now I play ranked games more often.
so the point of not having a wide champ pool is you can get used to exactly how fast you clear, how much damage you do at what point in the game, etc, and that’s very advantageous, obviously. so you want to get comfy on a champ and only play that champ as much as you can. then, get comfy on like one more champion, and this is your backup pick. if your main champ gets picked, you pick your backup. if you only play these champs and can then basically play them with your eyes closed, it opens you up to start thinking about macro gameplay. instead of having to learn a new champ every single game, you can actually focus on improving things like decision making. that’s the idea anyways. hope this helped!
Theres no hard rule about it. You don't necessarily have to one trick to climb, his point is don't play 10+ champions and just play whatever you feel like or whatever is meta. 3-4 champions that you've played a ton of games on is the ideal champion pool. Why? Because you start to learn just how much damage you can take, or how much damage you can deal in many scenarios so your decision making is better. You'll have a better idea of which fights you win and which fights you lose because you've limit tested. You'll learn the best builds into different compositions instead of blindly following a guide because you've played enough games. You learn little nuances about the champion that players who only have a few games on the champion won't know. Usually, for my champion pool, I also try to diversify it a bit. Fiddle is my favorite, and is good if my team is playing an AD comp and needs CC or teamfight. If I have an AP top and mid or the comp is too squishy, Fiddle would likely be a subpar pick. So I have Vi/Hecarim as my AD choices who also offer a little more beef if we need frontline or dive.

@@simplesa3d434 yep! Muscle memory is key, and then actively identifying your weaknesses and searching for content like this to fight better strategies. And then when you have your champions down, search for high elo players who specialize in them and learn better strats and see what they do that works. For example, I used to try and apply my Hecarim logic to Vi and full clear but her clear sucks and you finish super late. So I saw a video where someone took a jungler with a slower clear but strong dueling and early levels and they 3 camp into gank or invade and let me tell you it was a game changer. Every game I do it I either get a kill or flash. Stuff like that.

I need to link this vid to everyone in silver who sees 1 person start to int or troll or DC that the game can still be won 4v5. What happens so often in my games is ill get this vex player acting the way she did here and I'm doing pretty good, like I feel like I can carry them and then it'll be the turning point of the game and past 20 mind and then a /ff gets 4 votes and we lose cuz everyone gave up.
You gotta realize what’s really happening in a game. It’s not do this and win. It’s do this consistently and your chances of winning go up. In other words, you’re not trying to duplicate exact moments in every game, you’re trying to develop a system that dictates what you’re going to do. And even then, there’s always a chance you lose because your system may be flawed or your execution may be poor. In order to get better you have to evaluate both of these things win or lose. Easier said than done though. But in the case of a 4v5, all that does is lower your odds of winning. How much? That’s unknown. And more often than not, in low level play, the odds become nigh impossible but there’s still a chance you win.
As a Nocturn main, conquerer is NOT standerd. Lethal Tempo works waaaay better with his kit. Here is why: Noc is a fighter and carries games by splitpushing. When splitpushing ur 1v1 ing a lot. Lethal Tempo does more dps when the enemy is feared by ur E. Conquerer is the way to go when ur expecting to teamfight a lot. Which happens in maybe 30% of ur games.
Are you Number 1 Nocturne player in the world? That also is this good in the super server Korea? Did you hit multiple season Challenger? How can you still think you know better than a multi season Challenger and NR1 Nocturne that plays the champ on the highest level for years now. delusional
I always hold q until he uses w and I cast second e early if he doesn't insta-cast his w. Noc is a hard match up, but if you play it smart you can beat him 9/10 times.

I’m like level 12 and I’ve barely done any PVP, would it be less beneficial to get coaching so early or better to learn the game and matchups a bit more so things make more sense within the context of a 90 minute session? Been working on Darius, Garen and Trundle and primarily trying to play Top so I’m not getting in the way of others before I really know what I’m doing on a macro level.
Yea. Lot of the things you can learn can be found on TH-cam first. Just look around and play at least 100 games of ranked. Then when you cap out, get a coach who can fix what mistakes u make. A coach isn't a teacher to help you learn the basics, a coach takes u above your current level and fixes ur weaknesses
Yes. First I'd learn what I can without a coach (and even using Neace's free content), and find out what I don't know or what I might wanna improve upon if possible. Also, have a goal in mind. Then consider coaching.
Remember, Neace isn't the only coach either. There are others with similar or better service for cheaper. Don't just facecheck the first deal that comes your way (food for thought).
yep. if youre severely overweight and get a professional weightlifting coach for one of your first gym sessions ever, you wont be agile enough to do alot of the things he wants you to do, and you wont retain alot of the information and most of the time will be spent on just getting your form correctly. sure youll get something out of it. but its nearly a waste at that point. get 6 months of playing under your belt at the minimum is my opinon. good luck on improving
Would you ask for a coach when you can’t even dribble a basketball? No, you get outside and keep trying and practicing until you can. You put the time in and you put your own take on things, get help from others and you look like someone else.
I would say level 30 is the benchmark if you are so desperate for coaching. And only play 5 or so champions.
yup i take back what i was about to write. after watching your coaching, did the similar thing at first dragon. waited for R to go in, no vision, used blue, spoted lee sin and sona, dove them , snowballed from there. i gotta turn off the chat now.

One thing that confuses me about the champ pool? Do I one trick one champ to climb or it should be 2 champs minimum champion pool?? Massive thanks for the videos!! Grateful for these videos they've been helping me tremendously to get over my ranked anxiety and now I play ranked games more often.
so the point of not having a wide champ pool is you can get used to exactly how fast you clear, how much damage you do at what point in the game, etc, and that’s very advantageous, obviously. so you want to get comfy on a champ and only play that champ as much as you can. then, get comfy on like one more champion, and this is your backup pick. if your main champ gets picked, you pick your backup. if you only play these champs and can then basically play them with your eyes closed, it opens you up to start thinking about macro gameplay. instead of having to learn a new champ every single game, you can actually focus on improving things like decision making. that’s the idea anyways. hope this helped!
Theres no hard rule about it. You don't necessarily have to one trick to climb, his point is don't play 10+ champions and just play whatever you feel like or whatever is meta. 3-4 champions that you've played a ton of games on is the ideal champion pool. Why? Because you start to learn just how much damage you can take, or how much damage you can deal in many scenarios so your decision making is better. You'll have a better idea of which fights you win and which fights you lose because you've limit tested. You'll learn the best builds into different compositions instead of blindly following a guide because you've played enough games. You learn little nuances about the champion that players who only have a few games on the champion won't know.
Usually, for my champion pool, I also try to diversify it a bit. Fiddle is my favorite, and is good if my team is playing an AD comp and needs CC or teamfight. If I have an AP top and mid or the comp is too squishy, Fiddle would likely be a subpar pick. So I have Vi/Hecarim as my AD choices who also offer a little more beef if we need frontline or dive.

@@simplesa3d434 yep! Muscle memory is key, and then actively identifying your weaknesses and searching for content like this to fight better strategies. And then when you have your champions down, search for high elo players who specialize in them and learn better strats and see what they do that works.
For example, I used to try and apply my Hecarim logic to Vi and full clear but her clear sucks and you finish super late. So I saw a video where someone took a jungler with a slower clear but strong dueling and early levels and they 3 camp into gank or invade and let me tell you it was a game changer. Every game I do it I either get a kill or flash. Stuff like that.

I need to link this vid to everyone in silver who sees 1 person start to int or troll or DC that the game can still be won 4v5. What happens so often in my games is ill get this vex player acting the way she did here and I'm doing pretty good, like I feel like I can carry them and then it'll be the turning point of the game and past 20 mind and then a /ff gets 4 votes and we lose cuz everyone gave up.
You gotta realize what’s really happening in a game. It’s not do this and win. It’s do this consistently and your chances of winning go up. In other words, you’re not trying to duplicate exact moments in every game, you’re trying to develop a system that dictates what you’re going to do. And even then, there’s always a chance you lose because your system may be flawed or your execution may be poor.
In order to get better you have to evaluate both of these things win or lose. Easier said than done though.
But in the case of a 4v5, all that does is lower your odds of winning. How much? That’s unknown. And more often than not, in low level play, the odds become nigh impossible but there’s still a chance you win.

As a Nocturn main, conquerer is NOT standerd. Lethal Tempo works waaaay better with his kit. Here is why:
Noc is a fighter and carries games by splitpushing. When splitpushing ur 1v1 ing a lot. Lethal Tempo does more dps when the enemy is feared by ur E.
Conquerer is the way to go when ur expecting to teamfight a lot. Which happens in maybe 30% of ur games.

just a fyi, noncture is one of the few champs that ACTUALLY beat warwick lvl 3, i love playing warwick jungle and the biggest headache is nocture.
I always hold q until he uses w and I cast second e early if he doesn't insta-cast his w. Noc is a hard match up, but if you play it smart you can beat him 9/10 times.
