- This is a never before seen TV commercial for Mega bloks Pyrates: Dread eye's phantom which Mega bloks pushed heavily. Some people say that this line even almost crippled Lego. I am sorry for the bad quality, but the source quality was not very good to begin with.
This commercial is found on the mega bloks dragons: battlestorm epic cd from 2007.
I used too love this, almost 10 years later I've gone back and buying the skeletons I didn't have. only 6 more and I've got the hole skeleton crew, I don't care about the other crews

That was my childhood. I got 3 ships (Dread’s Eye, Captain Cutlass and the 3RD I did not remember), shark attack, many islands etc. I did not respect It and a lot of parts have been Lost or broken, Because I made my own constructions, islands etc. Sometimes I am crying Because of that. I Can buy from second hand but It will not be the same that my dad bought to me... When I am writting It, I am crying...
I was pissed that they never released the ship for the privateers so when the 2011 sets rolled out I improvised and used the new Stormstalker which used the Black Pearl hull as their ship.
The 3rd ship you got was probably was from the Buccaneer Crew known as the predator.

no way! I gave my Dread Eye's Phantom to my former girlfriend's little brother when I tought I became too old, years ago. My collection is incomplete now and I regret this choice so much. If I was only able to find a new replacement, the only ones I was able to find are incomplete second hand sets on ebay/amazon. I don't mind second hand, but it has to be complete :p
I bought one on Amazon for like 250
I bought mine for $40 and was only missing some of the figures.

I noticed you called it "2.0" Instead of 'new' or 're-release' or something, so it sounds like you've been reading the mega bloks pyrates wiki which I helped edit at one point. Yeah, I have gotten back into Pyrates recently. Earlier this year I bought both the original Dread Eye's Phantom and the Stormstalker along with a bunch of other sets. They're still really cool.
The sound and blue light thing of my dread eyes phantom always started randomly and scared me at night

geocraftsman I miss these days.. when they were still around .... and I was only able to have a few, compared to the hundreds of sets made, Pyrates and POTC (and beyond)

geocraftsman I often got both. I have the Black Pearl, and Dread Eyes Phantom, and a few various sets from both. Now I really wish I had ones from Dragons (the older sets) and Plasmaverse and more

Unfortunately, there was only ever one Pyrates movie veer made ever. But, I have a theory that another one was about to come out very soon.
It honeslt breaks my heart right now becuase I don't think I can get those to work. It has been like my personal quest in my life to discover the secret behind pyrates 2...... and I failed. But at the same time, thank you for directing me there. Because now I know the files are floating out there, in the ether, waiting to be taken.
+geocraftsman Check out bloks.hyperboards.com. There's a bunch of people who downloaded the movie and viewed it back in 2006. From what I gathered it is BETTER than the first one!! And maybe the same length (~15min). Most of the accounts are inactive now and haven't logged in in years, but the only one that is still active who downloaded it is called goldenvs. I'm trying to buy the movies off of him.
I would be happy to send you a video/pictures of my complete collection. I go to college but during my spring break I can send you footage. Besides the entire complete collection, some interesting features of my collection are:
- I have Skeleton Crew Invasion #3680, officially confirmed by Mega Bloks as unreleased. My mom got it at a factory outlet store for Christmas 2006, so they probably made a few and then when they decided not to mass produce it they sent them to factory outlets. Most items at factory outlets either have defects or are unreleased sets.
- I have a Plunderer's Port set that gives a different name to Destreader. It's printed as Blue Geist. I've only seen one other example of this on the internet.
- The rare european pyrates exclusive skull. This set was never retailed in America and everyone who has it in America bought it and had it shipped from overseas.
We should try to contact Mega Bloks and see if they have the movies. Then we should put them on youtube for everybody. It's a pleasure to find someone who likes Pyrates as much as I do!
+Tristan T. I also have over 90 screenshots from the discontinued pyrates multiplayer game that has descriptions of every character. Their skillset, role in the story, personality, etc. These are entirely impossible to get now since both of the pyrates multiplayer games are no longer on the website.

All the unreleased sets I know of are labeled here; mega-bloks-pyrates.wikia.com/wiki/Mistakes_and_Prototypes oh yeah, and also bluebeard's avenger, mega-bloks-pyrates.wikia.com/wiki/Bluebeard%27s_avenger and this strange set; mega-bloks-pyrates.wikia.com/wiki/Mega_bloks_figure_pack And also the three unreleased skull caves (privateers attack, skeleton crew prison, and marauders mutiny) which I am sure would have had that Pyrates movie.
I am the co-founder of that wiki by the way, and I wrote a lot of that article.
But yes, I am deeply intrigued to see your collection.
