Wow, this is awesome. It astounds me that Mega Bloks cut so much content from the release copy of this movie, but I guess they wanted to focus on advertising the wave 2 sets. Still, its cool to see the Draigar Fortress, Norvagen Destroyer and Cavern Dragons sets being showcased. Thanks for unearthing such a gem for us.
This is what made my child good great, they made a toy franchise even a story for it made it a little dark but yet so cool the new generation of kids won’t have that same feeling cause there toys isn’t as dark as these
It was so difficult to build an Odaku army back then. No random battle chests, the most you got in a single big set was like 4, and the cost of even the small tower/cannon packs made it so expensive. But they were so great looking and their weapons were so intricate, I wanted a whole army of them!
I think when the obscure second wave came out there were army packs of like 2 odaku and a ferroch, or two norveigan and an odaku or something like that. But I don't think anybody caught that one.
@@geocraftsman there were, I got a few of each, but they are specific figures in each pack. There were about 5 designs in two types of colors, drastically less variation than the norvagen, draigar, and vorgans of previous years. Luckily some sellers on eBay don't know that and sell them for as cheap as crystal wars figures!
@@J4R0D That's cool. That next wave totally passed me by. Did you ever invest in the series with the Argentix and Aurios (on the Mega Bloks website it was called Battlestorm Epic?)
@@geocraftsman yeah, it at least had a few unique molds like the dudes that came with the castle. They made pretty sweet commanders. The rest of the figures were lacking, especially as most were Valerthan and Warfang molds. I am still missing one of the figure sets that had a recolored Klakk vorgan mold
Thats the way I felt when I rediscovered these back in 2014. But yes, Draigar are the best and the original series with the Warfang vs the Valtheran is the best series too.

10:17. I love *Thoron's* roar here. It sounds both eerie and intimidating.
This needs to make a comeback
The breakout beasts need to a deluxe line of figures

@@J4R0D I only have a couple of the sets, barely anything at all. I like some of the new molds though, even though they were sparse.
Thank you so much for uploading! I remember first watching this when I was just 12!
cool! I never saw this version of it, but I watched the original Metal Ages one when I was about 4 or 5.
16 years later... So much nostalgia
Draigar are still the best.
