Those step sisters don’t deserve Naoto and as soon as they discovered he’s not blood related they immediately do a 180 and what makes me even more mad is the fact that Naoto brushed it off like nothing happened just like every MC. He should have at least gotten mad at them for the way they treated him. Honestly, I would've jumped at the opportunity to leave. When the sisters start acting lovey-dovey trying to get me to stay, I push them off roughly. Looking at them with seething anger, I tell them not to get in my way. They've treated me like a pest in their lives for years and are now trying to take away my one chance to escape. Of course, since the dad's in the room, he's gonna have words for them while I'm able to pack up and leave with Naruo. They can try begging me to stay, but I tell it to their faces that I don't trust them to not go back to treating me like a roach. So I leave with Naruo and let them regret all of their previous actions. Naruo and I can find love far away from the house and eventually bring gfs or wives to meet our family down the line.

But it's the exact opposite? They had no interest in the actual guy from the rich family. Their behaviour was shitty and they were forgiven too easily, but they weren't gold diggers.
