- Ultrasound of the Rotator cuff/Shoulder. Learn to identify the various facets of the humeral head...of course this is only one version of a protocol and many other techniques and series are valid. Always perform in the context of a comprehensive radiology department with access to trained Radiologists.
The audience intended is MSK sonographer 'learners' of which I still am one. This video presents some tips to assess the infraspinatus that are perhaps non-traditional. You will see some dynamic tips for assessing the bursa and the IGHL in adhesive capsulitis. Always review the latest literature as this video may not represent the latest research. Hopefully some aspects of imaging of the Posterior glenoid and axillary recess are helpful.

This is absolutely THE best US demonstration of the shoulder I have seen and I have seen TONS over the last 13 years. Thank you!
Wow, thank you!
AGREED!!!
The best shoulder usg master class ever
You are born to teach
One of the best videos I've seen on teaching shoulder joint anatomy via US
Such an outstanding presentation!! I've been studying ultrasound for a year, nobody has ever explained this so easily. Some of the positionings you show are not taught in France. Thank you so much for your videos i look forward to practise!
Glad it was helpful!
The best shoulder vid on youtube
I came back to this video today. So many golden nuggets! And I must say, quite a lot of non-standard arm positions, but makes total sense! I will try out the infra and iGHL position. I find it very hard to to scan the inferior recess from up in the axilla, but your approach seem to be coming more from a posterior approach, which I think the patient will appreciate!
One of the Best Demonstration I saw uptil now! Archived. Thanks A lot.
It is an absolutely masterclass demonstration. I loved every bit of the demonstration. I loved your detailed explanations along with personal pointers. Thank you for sharing your expertise and making things simpler.
Glad it was helpful!
Great presentation. The detailed coverage of anatomical structures is second to none. The different approaches and tips to locating various structures is priceless. Thank you for sharing.

Great. I'd like to try release of inferior capsule in frozen shoulder with your position
Live your videos!
Glad you like them!
I’ve see your hamstring and shoulder video. What other msk videos do you have? You’re the best “explainer” out there!
@@nancyokeefe5280 there’s knee, ankle lateral and medial, buttock, and some elbow I think.
Hi! Thanks for this amazing video. What do you use as a gel, is it an oil you are using?
❤❤❤❤
Can you upload some videos back muscle
excellent! Can i ask you a 7:32 (when is visualized sup and middle facet) probe orientation marker if is direct to the right side of patient? i ask because in many video is possible to see demonstration in vivo only on the right shoulder of patient but more rare is seeing demonstration of the left shoulder as you; Thanks in advance
I’m sorry the video is not rotated properly but the probe marker is under my thumb and therefore directed anteriorly (6:50) to achieve a transverse cuff view over the sup and middle facet.
@@bridieroche-sonographer thank you for answer so i have understood orientation (under the thumb)
