It's always possible that Andrew attempted to lower his tone of voice or reduce any aggressive demeanor, once he saw or heard his daughter coming... if he thought that this disturbance was inadvertently inconveniencing her as well. Not to mention the father and daughter still needing to coexist with one another once Penelope is separated.

I am a man, if I had a HEART CONDITION I would not continue to engage with my wife and would NOT be arguing period. I would leave the room and walk away. If my wife was not living in the home I would ask her to leave. If she continued all I have to do is call 911 and have the police remove her from the home.
The FACT that this man CONTINUED to FIGHT and participate in the argument tells me he made that decision himself. He DIED becuase of a heart attack that HE ALONE could have prevented VERY EASY! It doesnt matter if somone is aware of your health condition as its the SOLE RESPONSABILITY of the person with that condition to take care of themselves.
While I agree the wife was involved in the argument and contributed to the stress its was the MAN, the Father, the Husband, THAT CHOOSE to participate and CHOSE to engage even though he was fully aware that he had a heart condition and that tress was NOT healthy for his condition. Only the person with the condition can gauge how much stress they can take.
This case SHOUDL NEVER be in court. The MA DA and the judge are BOTH CORRUPT and should be disbarred for wasting tax payer money on this case.

The worst thing you can do when someone is injured or in a 911 medical emergency is to scream or shout.I have seen people at shootings and car accudents standing over a victim SCREAMING...as they die.

There is a difference in sentences in cases of just a regular fight when the victim is an elderly vs a young person So by the same token, pushing and slapping a healthy person is not the same as doing it to a person with heart condition.

EX wife comes into the house. Physically attacks her ex husband. He tells her to leave several times. She does not and continues to attack him. She is the aggressor. She is the abuser. The 17 year old daughter went into high anxiety mode. Glad she called the police. Ex wife not the victim. It's that simple.

I agree with Philip, saying that the state went too far with charging the wife. Instead of charging her for manslaughter, she should have gotten charged with something one level down, involving a domestic dispute resulting in death without consent to kill. Other charges, such as abuse and physical assault I can see her being charged for.

Does the father not have some culpability? He knows he has a cardiac issue and yet he let her in & participated in the screaming match. He could have not let her in, he could have walked away, he could have called police and had her removed. He definitely bears some responsibility; but we now live in a society where nothing is ever our own fault.

So you're blaming the victim who had health issues and just had a stroke? Would you say the same if it was a man coming in to argue with a sick woman or even an elderly woman? And that man pushed the woman and slapped her?

Depends on the elements of the charge if it's valid or not. Just depends on the state law codes.

I'm no fan of Political figures but to charge this woman for her husbands death is overkill and unjust! She's not a physician and she did at some point administor CPR. I understand the daughters upset but to charge her for his death after he collapsed is going to far. Surely there's plenty of Defendants waiting in jail for their day in Court! Ontario, 🇨🇦 🐾

Why didn't she just leave and not get into it with him pushing and slapping him..there is some culpability here. To say it's ridiculous is messed up. This is DV at least. We have to have control and not use hands for God's' sakes.
