@@brothernobody1775 Is that a possibility? Yes. But as far as we know, randomnes exists at a fundamental level, and we cannot throw away that possibility. Besides, it's not like scientist just said "we don't know what is going on here so it must be random". No, they have found equations and rules that are very good at explaining how that randomness works and are able to make predictions that can be proven in very precise experiments. It's not just any kind of randomness.
Joe, could you please do a video on this "hyperdimensional data cube" he keeps talking about? What is that in layman's terms. Sounds like technobabble.
Joe I really like these conversations. I am working my way through them all. In order. I wonder if you would do a conversation with Mark Rober. I think that would be cool.
Nice podcast, you get me interested in things that i never thought of. Is it possible to get Dustin from smarter everyday as quest? I think you two have a similar vibe
It seems like this dude is oversimplifying things and avoiding details regarding the subject of space junk, interstellar travel, etc... Details and specifics matter. This audience can handle it.
You did not seem particularly well prepared for this interview. I think it was messy, without structure and plan. Is in my opinion the worst so far in the series.
It looked mostly like Moriba kept going off-topic in tangents that had nothing to do with the topic or question asked. That was my observation anyway. There is no amount of preparation for that kind of interview.
Moribah is a good friend of mine. I am so happy to see him interview with one of my favorite TH-camrs
Those first 11.5 minutes/ 16 years were a dark, wild ride.
The fact that he shared that story will likely inspire many kids in rough situations.
Would love to see more about native American cultures
what an interesting guy! i love the brutal honesty!
Nothing short of aTREMENDOUS conversation! 👍👍👍
The Moriba Jah vs Andy Weir Rap Battle will be epic.
Him: Nothing is random
Me: Laughs in quantum mechanics
we're still too stupid as a species to see the patterns at a quantum level...
Lol me exactly.

@@rodriguezelfeliz4623 Randomness doesn't exist. If a pattern can be found within it, it isn't random and patterns are found everywhere.

I don't think he's talking about something specific - I interpreted it as just "multidimensional data sets"
is there "no bs" version?
I want to watch that series you were talking about at the end there. Sounds super interesting! Also, great interview!
I agree. I did not know there were so old cultures in North America. Makes sense though. Can't wait to watch that series. Do it man!
37:54 JWST is at L2. The conversation is still relevant, just wanted to point out the L1/L2 mistake.

How long does the solar rays take to break down this stuff?

Beautiful intro bud. I prefer that type of introduction of the guest do it live for them though.
nice

I like Moribah too, but what the heck is on his nose.
super cool guy not super chatty but hey
What are you talking about? He was talking through most of the discussion.
Global
Artificial
intelligence
Algorithm
I'm feeling that! Nice to see someone else is thinking it too...
