Should I use glue compression for melody layering or standard compression? I’m asking because I’m assuming glue compression is ideal for drums but not sure if it applies for other sounds

Phase issues and masking or unwanted frequencys Like in the low end are the Most important thing + Stereo Image

sometimes i like to add more fx to one sound that add extra movement or space. like panning delays with lofi distortions

everyone layers these days 😅 i layer even vocals 😅
Because what we can do is limited, we tried to do it with a plugin, that nonsense was dominant for 5 years.
