  • In this video i show you how to utilise your oem inlet pipe as a guide to keep your new larger aftermarket inlets away for your pulleys on your N54. It will show you what tools you need and where to cut to make this effective. This is a DIY guide and just how "I" did it, you may have variations, but it worked for me. Car build, 335i time attack build, bigger turbos, need bigger inlets! 2" inlets

    I like that your using the bonnet prop from the civic still 👍🏻 that alone is worth smashing the like button 👍🏻

    I have the same issue ! Fitment is very tight. I might have to do this procedure but how is it going with the update so far? Awesome video

    How did everything fit when radiator was installed? Did it still rubbed ? Did the custom shield help ?

      I’m still putting it back together but i have an aftermarket radiator going on so will be using a thinner fan in any case. Too much going on down there!!

    That's a great idea! How was clearance in the front where the fan is?

    • @listerofsmeg80
      @listerofsmeg80  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you use the oem fan then clearance is tight, which is all the more reason to do this, however in my car i will be using a slimmer fan with an after market radiator anyway so the problem goes away!

      @@listerofsmeg80 ok very nice! I've been dreading doing inlets because of the rear being such a booger but I'm about to do new engine mounts so figured that's a good time 😁

      @@micraw714 it will be, can drop the engine right down and wiggle the oem one out. Its pretty tricky so i wouldnt blame you if you cut it..!
