I read all the DO's and DONT's for seniors 70-80. I am within this bracket. I do not subscribe to not giving all that I have to my children. My GOD does not say that. He said, OH GIVE WHAT YOU HAVE AND THE LORD WILL GIVE YOU MORE. HIS WORDS ARE FAITHFUL. If I was generous in my younger years, much more in my senior years. I should not fail because I am now aspiring for eternal life. If I die hungry, SO BE IT. I know my earthly body will lay to rot on the ground but I know that GOD will take my soul if I abide in His words while I am in the land of the living. So I give and give to my family and people in need without mental reservation for my future. Others will say I am wrong. And I say this is my way of insuring my soul to eternity.
I'm 80 and I still work! I walk as much as the weather allows. I drink 1 glass of good red wine every evening (my 106 year old grandmother said that dark wine is goosd for your blood and your heart) she kept cases of the stuff in her garage! Just NEVER drink so much you get drunk! I never eat cake or pies, but I do like pumpkin or banana bread, and sugar free popscicles in August. I NEVER eat red beef, I do eat fresh wild salmon, tuna, saradines. I eat 2 eggs a day, never eat white bread, bagels, biscuits, etc.. DO eat dried fruit and nuts, especially walnuts.
#1------talk to God and your Guardian Angels 24/7-----always say thank you, thank you, thank you, Lord for waking me up! Starts my day off on the right foot.

If you are a Catholic, please visit HIM at the Adoremus ( Adoration Chapel) daily if you can. Speak to HIM in plain language and words direct from your heart. Thank you for sharing! I'd love to know which lesson you found most impactful. That would be incredibly valuable to us. Wishing you a peaceful and happy life!
When I was released from the penitentiary i kept my promise to God. When this chic graduated she shouldn't have went back to the hood. Just like Nipsey Hustle. U can invest in the hood but you don't have to keep friends that you have nothing in common with anymore. Daaaam being a real one. I only owe my kid's being a real one.
Woooooow, my comment was supposed to go on post for Shaquille Robertson. Don't know how it got here but ok. Still stands. Don't deal with people u have nothing in common with because you grew up with them. Lives take different paths.

about the "friend" thing, the older I get the fewer "friends" I trust------it takes a lot of trust before I will call anyone a friend.

The first one hundred years are the difficalt ones
After that we will be just fine
“Exciting chapter”? Love the irony.
There are positives about becoming a senior but exciting is not one of them (unless you are in denial).

Fell asleep halfway through due to the monotone lol
Click bait. A lomg winded waste of time. These normal behavior points have nothing to do with aging.
