Thanks Jay, I have the 24 and 50 on my Amazon wish list. Which one would you recommend next, I have to 35mm and I’m not sure if I should go tighter or wider. It seems like maybe tighter but I really want to try the 24mm
Yes to this lens. I'm doing a project right now using this 35 along with the Sirui 75mm as well, both APSC and they are both awesome. Using them with the Panasonic S5. (original) Image quality is so dope. Just beautiful. The minimum focusing distance is more like 3/4 feet though, just fyi. I wish it was only a foot. ;) Great review, and yeah... amazing we have this option at these prices... Thanks for sharing.
I wish I had gone for the 75mm as the 50 is too close to the 35mm. Totally agree can’t believe they don’t get talked about more. A friend told me they used them on the latest Indiana jones rigged to the cameras on the motor bikes
Any advice on choosing a squeeze factor, outside of the compatibility restrictions you mentioned? Struggling to choose between a 1.33x and a 1.6x. What was your montage filmed with?
Good day. Please tell me how I can connect my sirui anamorphic 24mm 2.8 MFT to the Red Komodo camera or to the BlackMagik 6K? The first camera has a Canon RF mount, and the second has a Canon EF mount
I have seen a modded version of one of these lenses were someone converted it from an mft mount to an rf mount. Check out this and see if it helps you nofilmschool.com/sirui-lenses-conversions
I also own the Greatjoy 50mm 1.8. I prefer the Sirui for a few reasons. The build quality, I like the 1.3 over 1.8 because it is compatible with more cameras and edit programs and these lenses are also half the price and smaller so better for mounting on a gimble work. Saying that I think the Greatjoys do look great but I would definitely go for a Sirui's lenses in the future
Thank you - What about the 1.6x FF version? I picked up the 50mm 1.6x FF RF mount version used on ebay for $950 tonight. The 1.33x version seems more of a stills type lens and from what I've seen the flares are a little obnoxious on the S35 less expensive version@@thatcameranerd
@@scooteractual I've only used the S35 one and it definitely has a strong look. It would be good to try the 1.6 FF version and see how different they are. From what I've seen online the FF version has a stronger look than the Greatjoy, a little more contrasty and vibrant. Looks like the greatjoys flair a little more at the edges of frame
Your channel is underrated and that’s a great thing. New sub. Great content 🔥🔥🙏🏾
Thank you so much my friend I appreciate the support
Love the footage. Made me smile. Have a great day!
I really want one! Thanks for making a quality video!
Thanks for watching I really want the 24mm next
Loving your channel! I have the Sirui 75mm 1.33 for my S1 and the 35 and 24mm for my Pocket 4k and absolutely love them!

@@thatcameranerd wouldn’t surprise me, they’re small enough to do something like that, and I agree, the perfect set is the 35 and the 75. So awesome.
@RockWILK it’s on my list. Have you tried any of the other Sirui lenses? Interested to know what there other stuff is like
@@thatcameranerd I haven’t.
Glad to find your channel! Great stuff! SUBBED. Thank You!

How would you say these compare to the Great Joys? I have the 50mm 1.8 that I used on the BMPCC 6K but haven’t tried it on the Komodo-X yet.
