Intention is key. For sure! I always feel like the tilt shot (especially some of the ones you showed with a boom up or down always felt like a vertical parallax movement to me. Not dissimilar to an orbit shot. Which is also a kind of parallax, no? I definitely used an orbit shot at the end of a short film I did about a girl having not skated in a long time, and remembering, then being invited out with professional skaters on a little collab event. But I feel like I could have done it better (now).
I feel like the Michael Bay Orbit shots were phenomenal but what hurt was the battle sin the background. I'mm trying to comment without flags words but the battles all seemed to be the same over the years. They lost their gravity and became just background noise. It can still be used well.
