Idk I feel like after the many years Wally had been filling Barry’s shoes since he died in crisis on infinite earths, he made the suit and the identity of the flash his own
I'll be honest: I prefer Wally having his Rebirth costume over the decision to just give him back his pre-Flashpoint outfit. it's nice, but the Rebirth costume was a perfect fusion of his Kid Flash and Flash legacy, and this honestly feels like a regression from that.
Tbh when Wally was using his white eyes suit was when he cemented himself as a formidable Flash so even if it is similar to Barry's, it's a suit that Wally had earned and made his own. His rebirth suit kinda feels more like a regression to his kid flash days if anything in my opinion. Plus i kinda really love the white eyes suit so i kinda have a biased feeling towards it so my point might not have any credibility 😂
Back in the late 80's/ early 90's, I began to love Wally West as Flash. I'm glad he's back to being a hero. Incidentally, I love Jay Garrick and Barry Allen, too. I didn't like how Wally briefly tarnished an heroic legacy.
It's been a really fun run so far, Adams has really surpassed what people expected of him (not that it was positive or negative he's fairly new to writing comics coming more from animation and stuff)

I thought everything was going to be good again with DC Rebirth and it started off good but once the Dark Knight Metal started DC dipped in quality again and a lot of characters became unlikable again. I hope comics in general become good again cause I'm really not liking comics in general right now and they are starting to become not worth the prices. For me personally Marvel hasn't been good since Civil War 2 and DC hasn't been good since rebirth. I just hope their quality improves soon. At least the comic movies and shows are doing good.

I'm gonna miss the maroon and silver Wally suit. It could get reworked in spots but the basic design is nice. I figured by now a speedster would've gone sleeveless or at least short sleeved like the new Future Barry of the new Year One story.

i kinda like that they retconed reverse flash doing that because that still means that he said that he did it even though he didn’t. meaning that not only is he doing all these terrible things to the flash family but also he’s lying about doing some things as well just to make them hate him more. he wants to be their villain and will do anything to reach that goal
Though not quite on the same level, this is the same type of poor retcon as the Hal Jordan/Paralax fiasco. The fact that DC had the guts to follow through with the Emerald Twilight Saga, was so amazing! That DC agreed to turn an original JLA member into a bonafide super villain was beyond comprehension! The story & art were superb. It all made sense & was a true comic book tragedy on the same level as the Phoenix Saga. Then Hal sacrifices himself to save the universe, in a selfless act to redeem all of his misdeeds. All undone so he could be brought back into the current continuity. Sad that such an incredible story is washed away just to bring back a character by writers who lack of imagination.

Like many before me, my generation was the Wally West Flash. I even enjoyed his portrayal in the DCAU's Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. (And c,mon. We needed his own solo series set in the DCAU) It's just frustrating that DC has been treating Wally like garbage since the New 52 happened.
Wally West is the fan favorite Lore has gave Barry Allen a second chance when he came back to life but Wally has earned the fans heart and still owns it

Like many before me, my generation was the Wally West Flash. I even enjoyed his portrayal in the DCAU's Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. (And c,mon. We needed his own solo series set in the DCAU)
It's just frustrating that DC has been treating Wally like garbage since the New 52 happened.
Barry Allen is still my favorite Wally West whichever one it comes in a second and the reverse flash it's crazy

Lore has gave Barry Allen a second chance when he came back to life but Wally has earned the fans heart and still owns it

I actually kind of like this retcon of a retcon. I mean it's better than the TV show for sure. lol
Man i love this so much!!!! I hated what they did with him so much I stopper buying flash comics. Something I haven't done since I was 12!!! I'm 34 now!!! That was the main reason why I stopped they made look really bad. As someone who's followed wally since his first appearance as the main flash! This is really awesome!!! Can't wait to see what they do with him now! By the way wally is my favorite of all the flashes!!!
