Now there are many different stories that explains who trained Batman in fighting techniques, along with escape tricks, and more.
But when it comes to how BatMan learned how to become a fantastic detective, and him developing his Detective skills that is the one thing that was never explained.

@ Brian Daleske … there is a story from The series The Untold Legend of the Batman where it shows a little of his detective training. It shows a young Bruce Wayne seeking out and being trained by a detective named Harvey Harris. The series came out in the 80’s

It was Detective Comics #226, 1955….Also I was referencing the 80’s series because I thought it might be easier to find ( I own it😊). And I just realized I own a replica of the story. I bought the Batman Annuals vols. 1 and 2 a few years ago. The story is in volume 1. I completely forgot! Think I’ll go and read it… it’s been a while 😊

We always get how he was trained to be one of the best fighters but almost never how he became the world's greatest detective. This was cool

Batman being The World's Greatest Detective has become a super power, and I dare say a super power with limitless potential over the years. All of his capabilities essentially come from being a Detective as he used Detective skills to hunt down and speed learn from the best teachers for every knowledge and skill on the planet. Who can argue that his complete control over his mind and body on a metabolic level isn't a super power? That's definitely a superpower. Is it even mentally and physically humanly possible to learn every martial art ever, essentially developing lifetimes of training by the time he's 30? If were being serious here Batman ain't no character without powers, he's a character who hyperconditioned himself to have powers. Superhuman Metabolic Control, Endurance, Intelligence, and Skill.

My favorite part of zero year was the little side stories at the end telling the stories of batmans different training

With any Superhero who operates at street level (such as _Spider-Man),_ I always LOVE the stories about the *on-the-job* TRAINING that they suffered through, on their way to eventually learning the HOW TO of being a Superhero.

I thoroughly enjoyed Tom Taylor's issues of Spider-Man and am looking forward to reading his Nightwing run. It doesn't surprise me that he would write a solid Batman story.

Well Batman was trained by 34 different masters teaching him 127 forms of martial arts and other major worldly skills so it's not much surprising as Ducard has also arrived in Batman Begins

This has been a great mini series so far. I think I prefer this over most of the current Batman stuff in the Earth-0 continuity. Tom Taylor's writing is great and Andy Kubert is doing some of the best art of his career so far.
Young Bruce didn't acknowledge guns are useful, but later on, he is more chill about guns. like the time batman shot Darkside with a gun. And also the GCPD has guns. and Jason Todd too.

I love how they drew Bruce Wayne as a bruiser! The fact that he asked for champagne even though he looks like he spends his nights in bare fisted fight clubs or what have you. That's a wonderful detail!
ON A SEPARATE NOTE; MY THOUGHTS ON THE NEW VERSION OF BATMAN COMIC-BOOKS STORIES:
Now I genuinely like this version of BATMAN stories that introduces something new, and that something new is a proper amount of information to how Batman learned to become the fantastic Detective he is, and to add why he decided to do his stealth work at night, and who was his teacher in Detective skills.

Batman gets his training from everyone he's been trained by the league of shadows, wildcat and some other great fighters and each time he fights a super powered being he picks up ways of handling them

Actually I read a comic which I believe to be Detective comics 249 it was a mini book from the early 80s found in a bookstore. It told a story about Thomas Wayne at a costume party and won dressed as a bat and over came some Crashers trying to rob them. After there death young Bruce found a detective that called him Robin Red breast and taught the tricks of the trade. Anyone else seen this trade book.

The artwork is gritty and raw just like a Batman comic should be and the story is pretty well written. I don't know about you guys, but I'm really excited about how it goes from here :D
This feels like the bruce i grew up with
ALSO: he is the fan of sherlock holmes ; in justice league animated cartoon in a episode diana bruce &green lantern had time travel. Where bruce met Sherlock holmes. During that episode they had to Investigate something (about the villain) bruce see things faster than holmes, holmes asks "how do you know / learned this stuff " bruce replied "from the best detective there is , you" bruce & holmes share a smile. Even after years i still remember that seen.
