    Damn as a Future plumber in school this video is awesome. Really like those pants with those the tool bags included, shame they're 80 $(CAD) in Canada, any "Tommysyard" website alternative in Canada that you would know of! haha
    Great videos, keep the plumber stuff comic great to listen to this on my morning commute.

    Another very informative video, watch them all. It is a shame the plaster wasn't dry enough to at least mist coat behind the radiator beforehand? I also think it's worth being careful removing the plastic packaging so that the cardboard goes back over the top to stop muck going in behind and using the plastic as a coat to protect too.

    Great video - how many turns do you open the lockshield valve?

    I've spent a lot of time watching this sites clips and I can only say keep them coming, my misses might disagree! I would say you forgot to tell us to open the TVR valve fully before finally screwing it on.

    Love the videos. Always watch them just in case I'll need the know-how in the future. Prefer the videos to be longer to get all the info. Short ones can leave too much out and look staged.

    Hi. Is there a right way to put the Ptfe tape on regarding the thread direction?

    • @TommysYardchannel
      @TommysYardchannel  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Martin Dorrance Hi Martin, the PTFE should be wrapped clockwise around the thread

    Another great informative video lads. Could do with with some lighting as your camera is exposing for the window at times. As for the shakes and focus maybe look at random drug & alcohol testing Sam ;O)

    What was the name of the screws you use? I didn't quite catch the name.
    Also on a stud wall do you try and screw into the stud or doesn't it matter?

    • @TommysYardchannel
      @TommysYardchannel  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Argyll1000 Hi, the screws that we always use are called "Timco" they are brilliant for all types of work. www.tommysyard.com/product/199993/timco-50050c2tub-c2-pz2-passivated-classic-screw-in-tub-yellow-pk-600
      Timco also do a plasterboard fixing called Speedplug which are also great so it doesnt matter if you screw directly into a stud or just the plasterboard. www.tommysyard.com/product/200016/timco-metal-speed-plugs-31-5mm-100-pcs

    Would love you guys to get a tv show? But a real one that doesn't fix up a house in 60 seconds or some bull shit!

    No offense but it took around 3 min. until the radiator was unwrapped.I think you're doing good job btw ,but shorter(10-15 min.)videos would be better.Thanks for sharing anyway!

      +Peter Kertesz no offense taken peter, our videos are real life on site videos rather than staged showroom videos. We like to take our time and allow our viewers to enjoy the videos and get to know us rather than just a bang bang thank you mam type of video. Thanks for the feedback.

      +Peter Kertesz No offence but there are a lot of people out there making short how to videos but they miss a lot of useful information out, Because these guys film the whole job whatever it is from start to finish they dont miss a thing and it doesn't feel rushed like some of the shorter videos, Plus theres a bit of the banter and comedy you get on sites that would get cut out if the video was shorter. Keep up the good work guys and keep the long vids coming
