I'm going to just go ahead and say that this was a fantastic podcast. It illuminated a side of Peter Attia that I usually don't hear about on other interviews I tune into. Keep it coming guys.
    Cheers.

I'm glad Tim has discovered meditation and is spreading the word to those in his audience who may not all know about the benefits. It's interesting to watch this evolution he's going through. His interview with the wonderful Gabor Mate was excellent. Mate is generally - and rightly - revered up here in Canada. I do think there's some irony in his wish to come up with a name for meditation that he's more comfortable with. It's okay to dip your toes in the woo pool now and then, there are plenty of good reasons why millions of people meditate.

Caleb Peter says he got the Sam Harris app about 6 months ago and then refers to that being in January. So probably around June or July of 2018.

Is this a new podcast with Peter Attia or just a republishing of the one he did previously?

I just got off a phone interview with Uber. Tim, Peter. I’m uncertain about how it went. What do I do if not think of myself as the invincible old school boxer that takes lump after lump on the chin and still stares down karoshi in the eyes?

Sounds almost like knocking out naturally generated emotions. Anger is not bad at all, suddently not feelign anger towards a person? Yeah sounds like mental changes ona very dangerous or atleast on DISASSOCIATED level.
Also loving family and friends and suicidal? No, this makes zero sense.
This sounds like avoiding responceability on abusers and promotes the idea that people are willing to kill themselves while having it all that is opposed to suffering.
Hating oneself? No happy family produces this... i think Tim is excusing people and trying to blame his natural emotions for assholes behavior around him.
If this was NOT what he was saying at all... then fantastic, it is something i got 100% since statements he made were those very similiar to stockholm syndrome victims or self-denial budhists.

Okay, sure, let's say those feelings were a natural consequence of being abused. What now? Being stuck in an endless cycle of self-hating and suicidal thoughts is not healthy, and just saying "those people were bad to me" does nothing to solve the problem that a person now has entrenched patterns of thought keeping those feelings stuck in place. Also, anger may be healthy and normal, but being gripped by *persistent* anger is not. There comes a time to move on, and sometimes when you're trapped by certain habits of thought that can be really difficult to do.
